Morning all.
Just browsing the wines on msm as you do on Sunday morning.....
Friexenet ice cava the white bottle states £10.98 A £7 T.
I can't see it on T website but wondered if it would work?
Would be a good price and a nice looking gift.

The Brancott compared to S and M as well.0 -
Good morning all, cloudy but mild here.
Spent yesterday afternoon/evening round a friends with quite a group, outside all the time, it was very nice too. Problem is we came home with some cake and some baklavaGood morning all
Sad day for us here DIL dad died last night. Same age as me but had been unwell for a long time and struggled bravely for as long we have known him
Her mum has looked after him for years and he got his wish to be at home not in a hospice.
On another note nice to see lurkers coming out to join us
Take care
So sorry to hear this, it is still a shock even when expected, but it is nice for anyone in that position to manage to be at home at the end, FiL was and it made such a difference for him. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Do you want to maybe let other people try to find it themselves?

I know you'll be a great support to your DIL. I think it should be everyone's right wherever possible to die at home. I mean where else would you want to be?
Just heard a really interesting news item on people in hospital spending too much time in bed. There's a big campaign starting to get people up and dressed which psychologically is better for them and get them moving around. And for those who can, sitting at a table to eat which is more sociable and better for you than lying in bed.
If you are poorly I know this isn't possible but I can certainly see the benefits for those who can.
There is a huge amount of muscle loss from just lying in bed, so when it comes to getting moving again it can be more difficult than it needs to be. I've made a promise to my future self, that if i'm ever in that position, then i'm going to make a huge effort to get up and moving asap no matter how !!!! how feel.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Don't be sorry Westfie - you saved me the time I would have spent searching for it. Got so much to do today. There's wine, hair stuff to be bought, dinner to cook and maybe a whoopsie run to Ts.
Have a good one folks.0
