yesterday I participated in the windfall Wednesday, as I have done many times before
I duly clicked the link went thru to H&B order payfo and confirmed by 12.36.
I had a pop up come up say VC had recorded my visit, but I had no email confirming this or any other email from them, and its not showing on my account.
sent an email last night and still nothing, only a standard email offering me 25% off at PE

I forgot about it until it was too late, I would have gone for it this week .

I got my Wontoo ice cream yesterday. It was nice, but not amazing. I popped into Waitrose to get the Orchard Thieves cider, and to have a look for the 50p chocolate slabs. There were loads left in there but they just didn't look that appealing to me, and we have plenty of chocolate at home so I left them.


We went to a wedding reception straight after work last night and didn't get home until gone midnight. Then up at 6am for work today. I'm feeling a little dozy!! The reception was lovely though, in a great big country house with beautiful gardens and views. There was evening food but it didn't come out until 10pm, I was so hungry I was starting to feel ill.

michaels thinks it tastes of cardboard lol I wouldn't know as a) I ve never tasted cardboard and b) I ve never tasted their flakes

Dd has requested that we go to pizza hut today for lunch. I've googled it and it would appear that the best option is lunch at £7.95 I was just wondering if there was an app or anything to get a discount.

Good morning. Had we noticed that H4lifax Reward are dropping their rate to £2 from October :mad:.

It seems as interest rates are likely to be going up major banks have gone the other way - if you recall it was the threat of a rate DROP a while ago that prompted some to start dropping their rates (a drop that never materialised - and they didn't then put up savings rates when it went up 0.25% but did lending rates).

I think the time is getting very close to dropping some of these accounts and consolidating.

If there is a rise today can we look forward to a quick increase? I won't hold my breath ...

i dozed of in the chair last night then toddled off to bed after waking with a start with wayward GS making an appearance in the lounge.
20 mins later i get him calling up the stairs 'nana gf has had a row with her stepfather and she is coming to the village to see me' fine if this was midday, but no at midnight!
and what??? i ask
she was sitting on a bench outside the library which is where a lot of youngsters go as they have wifi connection.
i tell him she needs to contact parents and tell them where she is and shes safe and that she needs to go home.
After much shouting and name calling on his behalf i say she can stay ring parents using dh mobile and she can stay here in the spare room, he refuses and says he wants her to stay with him, which again i refuse, 45 mins past by this time and the poor girl was in tears still sitting at the library..
gs then says he will stay out all night with her at ...off you go then....
hes actually a wimp really, and i knew he wouldn't go...he went down to the library and came back with her and stayed in the conservatory all night this was then 1.30 am !! i stayed up stairs as i didn't want another confrontation, but she was up and had gone by 7.30am to catch a bus to be in work for 8am its only a summer job as she is still at college, and wants to do her nurse training when shes old enough, shes 17 tomorrow.
