Did anyone try the Hotel C Ice-cream - we rated it distinctly average and the chocolate 'flake' tasted of cardboard :( Would have been very unhappy had we paid for it!

The one in Chester doesn t sell ice cream not that I'm bothered. It's certainly true you can have too much of a good thing lol. Talking of ice cream I had two scoops out of the 4 the other day.

The woman was saying some people had four  ( it's not a thing you can keep is it )She was saying to them you don't have to have the four and they were replying well it says four so I ll have four

I ll just have one today when I'm going round the walls dodging couples and groups of Japanese tourists :o

on top of all this my daughter is unwell :(
you may remember a few years ago when I said she had dengu fever followed by miss diagnosed dvt first in one leg then the other and then both together, resulting in nearly five years of treatment including ulcerated legs and many stays in hospital for iv antibiotics....this has led to a very weak immune system and prone to leg ulcers.
her legs started to be painful a few weeks ago, then they broke open so weekly dressing change at the surgery, but we have to take her to the drs and that's a 2 hour round trip.if we're lucky...
she was wearing compression stockings to help, but in the end had to have compression bandages
she went last Friday is now on antibiotics for infection, has cellulitis and about 3 ulcers on each leg.
since Friday she has had 2 telephone calls from gp and 1 gp appoint and 1 nurse appoint which was today, and now more antibiotics and varying painkillers...next appointment Friday...her temp is slightly high and shes so anxious as she doesn't want a trip to hospital.
she suffers from depression but at the moment is in good spirits as she is laughing about all our mishaps :rotfl:
the latest being dh went to collect 2 wrought iron antique inside tall lamps complete with glass shades from mil
he broke one of the shades and ended up hoovering mil lounge :D

Oh dear Hillbilly your daughters having a tough time and a worry for you. She can t be that old either. How did she get this dengu fever was she abroad ?

When did you sign up. Sometimes they send the voucher the next day.
The Samuel stuff seems to have gone up in price compared to the other day. I wanted to get a 0 but now they £15. Im sure they were £10 the other day. Got an initial and a 5 for my sisters 50th. Of course will get her other stuff but thought they would be good keepsakes.

Ernest Jones have chamilia charms etc and they are £5 cheaper than H Samuel atm but no £10 signing up offer. The charms have gone up or haven t got any since the other day when they went on 3 for 2.

Trouble Is when you get a free charm you need the bracelet to put it on then you need spacers as they all bunch up together :o Its a never ending thing lol

Flip, Hillbern you have such a lot to deal with.

Hope your daughter starts to improve soon, cellulitis is horrendous on it's own and regular needs to be treated in hospital so she may need to prepare herself x

Primrose welcome to the Elite xxxx
