Had a disagreement in Tosco yesterday.

I bought 12 muller corners for £3. check out girl insisted I had a bargain as the receipt showed I has saved £5.16. I said I wouldn't have bought them for over £8! She insisted I've got such a bargain!
Then I pointed out the 6 packs were £3.50, so 2 of those would have been £7. So my real saving was a max of £4. She then insisted I had a bigger bargain buying them singly as I saved more money. Again I said I wouldn't have bought 12 at 68p each. She didn't get it.

I know a lot of people seem to think something is a bargain if you save £X, I see people buying things on the reduced section because it is save £X when there is no way I would pay even the reduced price for the item!

I personally can never understand why people go by how much you have saved, I look at the price of the product, not the saving.

My husband and I went for our free pint last night and enjoyed it in the beer garden. Very civilised! It would seem that if you happen to clear your browsing history then the website forgets that you've already had a drink.....
