Had the same problem for last few years during this time of year in my KITCHEN, Utility and Garage. Never been able to find the entry point. Tonight when I got in from work at 5.30pm it was the worse I've ever seen it. Must of got 50-100 up in the vaccum from the kitchen alone. There's lots of non flying ants too, but there is no pattern to where they move.

One of the problems in the kitchen is there are built in cupboards so presume there is a
Wish we could gut the kitchen and rebuild....or moving out for 6 weeks would work for me too!

Oh Simone, I've never seen so many.

I think mine are in the cavity somewhere under my dining room window at the corner of the house. But this year they have also travelled to the bedroom above!
Apparently flying ants grow their wings so they can fly to mate with other ants......
I need to do some more research.

    Morning peeps.

Thanks zippy. Mayo is on my list of things I need but unsure about this brand. I think I've bought it once before and it's a bit "oily"

Bit like that Heinz stuff in the big jars_pale__pale_

    Others might love it:)

Wedunsdae looks like Patty Valkyrie freebie, probably take away only.

Ratatouille also showing, so probably free 350 points for a rental.

Majoustic Whines also there, maybe a booze deal.

I am in awe - I def could not have done this, look after a set of horses - so much potentially that could go wrong. I think I would be pitching a tent up in the next field so I was never more than a few minutes from them incase of problems!

Good morning all, another warm one here.

We built Castor & Pollux's holiday cage yesterday, they went in it quite happily and that meant I could give their home cage a good clean out. Only problem was they took about an hour to finally decide to go back into their home cage, thought they had decided to move

It's ridiculous, they are South American by origin, although they are UK hatched, we put the holiday cage outside for them and provided some shade, they spent all their time in the shade, it is even too hot for them, brought them in a lot earlier than planned as they were sitting there panting

Makes you wonder how the native birds are coping, though I suspect I have some idea as I only see them in the garden early morning and in the evening at the moment.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
