    Evening peeps.

See that horse week has started well, lovely horses TM.

I've just sat down after battling with flying ants since about 4 o'clock!
    Thanks goodness for Henry.

Had the same problem for last few years during this time of year in my KITCHEN, Utility and Garage. Never been able to find the entry point. Tonight when I got in from work at 5.30pm it was the worse I've ever seen it. Must of got 50-100 up in the vaccum from the kitchen alone. There's lots of non flying ants too, but there is no pattern to where they move.

One of the problems in the kitchen is there are built in cupboards so presume there is a nest behind/below.

Wish we could gut the kitchen and rebuild....or moving out for 6 weeks would work for me too!
    The end is nigh

These could work out at 52p each today if it compares to Morrisons and If prices don't change

I've abandoned the M list haven't I? Do you think I have abandoned it?

    Perhaps.

I've probably abandoned it in the first sense - "to cease to support or look after" - but not the second - "to give up completely". I will doubtless update it again/return to it at some stage. I've just had maybe too many distractions - or things taking me out of the day for an hour and then only a couple of hours before I need to go out for another hour again so unable to get myself to start to do those couple of hours as I would be stop again soon and then, by the time I am back from the second hour out, it's teatime that takes a further hour or hour and a half out and then it's later and then I can't get started as it's late in the day, and then the same thing happens the following day. I just can't get myself started - although once I finally manage to do that, I will then continue for hours and hours and be unable to stop! I am "in trouble" and I am now almost certainly unable to update enough by Wednesday except that I'm not in trouble at all as I don't need to bother with Wednesday (it was going to be a busy day anyway, besides M, and especially as I'm not up-to-date, have missed out Monday, even more) and can just update my week-old information (minus any that seems to have changed) in due course - we've been here before as I have periods of updating and then not bothering with M for another month. There isn't, according to my list, much to end this week although the few each expiry day will add up over time and of course I haven't got expiry dates of last week's stuff that I haven't even added yet and items still on the list (the Hollands fresh individual pies ended last week btw so the offer price is well off now) as I haven't updated since after 11th July!

I can add my 18th July (minus whatever seems to have already expired by the time I reach it) whenever I feel like it, as this has always been a voluntary thing and add other items from online, except that there have been so many variances between online and instore recently that I can't rely on that (maybe my stores not changing their SELs soon enough?) - I may have to devise a coding system to keep items that were due to expire still on the list but marked effectively as expired online. They can then await me to check whether that seems to be the case instore before I can fully delete them - otherwise I feel I risk losing track (although I am sure even if I deleted them - rather than hoarded things like I normally do:rotfl: - I would be able to get fully up-to-date after my next set of store visits whenever that is). It's also been hot weather of course and doesn't lend itself well to doing updating - for at least two reasons: (1) it's too hot and (2) I'd like to do out and enjoy myself although apparently before 11am or after 3pm now given the weather warnings:laugh:.

I will cancel going to M on Wednesday (unless any currently unknown emergency that forces me to do so arises, and then I won't be bothering looking at prices comprehensively) (I can't be bothered!). I'll eventually get round to starting and then continuing updating of whatever parts of 11th July seem still to be on by the time I get round to them and my next price date will probably be some time in August (and then it'll be a full one again:doh: and leave it impossible to update sooner again afterwards), whilst between now and whenever in August I'll do at my leisure/whenever I feel like it 11th July seems may still be on and online (of course instore items that aren't online that I don't know the latest about may remain on my list).

I would apologise and maybe I ought to - I do things differently though so, as I'm not at fault in doing other things, I won't. Just to let you know I haven't suddenly disappeared from the earth and I am still here, safe and (fairly) sound. (It's taken me at least 48 hours to get round to going back onto this thread to post:rotfl:.)

    Just the man

I'm trying to find the name of a young(.?) man who sings and plays about 25 instruments. I think he's British and was discovered by Quincy Jones.

I heard a snippet of his music the other day and was blown away but I can't find him now.

    Any ideas?
