Ooh thanks for this. Didnt realise it was on. Not sure if its been mentioned on here yet.
I've got a pub a short walk away participating in this so will pop in this evening when walking Tessa. Hopefully get a nice pint of Cider :D

You're right, I don't think it had been. I spotted it in the MSE weekly newsletter last week. There are some pub chains also offering drinks if you download their app etc. Depending on what you've got locally you could go on a nice pub crawl. We'll have 12 miles to cycle home afterwards so I'll probably just stick to the one ;).

    Afternoon peeps. :)

    I'm home!!!

Operation went well, plate gone and so is the arthritis it had caused. :) Went down at 8.30 woke up at 11. Bandage can come off in 3 days ans stitches in 2 weeks.

My neighbours checked on my dogs a couple of times. Now I've got the headache of trying to stop the trying to lick the bandage as they know somethings not right and to stop them from hitting it when they go crashing around playing, which they always seem to do around my feet!!!

Good plan :). Check for vouchers too - Wontu has £5 pizza/pasta (max 2 per table), Bella I had 40% off mains https://www.bellaitalia.co.uk/offers/40-off-main-courses?campaignId=65227 and there is buy one main, get one for £1 on other sites too so it is working out which is cheapest.

And then making sure the final bill is in multiples of £20 .... It used to be simple - choose restaurant, go, eat, pay. Now you need to work out all combinations of vouchers and prices/calculate the bill before you walk in :o.

I think the vouchers have different dates for different people. My PE expires at the end of this month.

Some solicitors will offer a free half hour consultation to give advice before proceeding - possibly both brothers could make an appointment, take along all of their questions and see what can be done as they might both need lasting powers - they might need help with everyday stuff like paying bills etc
