If there wasn't anything put on your car, then i would do as they suggested on the other thread and choose 'The charge notice was not fixed to my vehicle'

These companies rely upon people panicking about these charges and paying up. In my experience the usually give up fairly quickly.....

Keep following the advice on the Newbies PCN thread (just ignore the narky comments - as there is a lot of useful info on there)

    Good luck!

I received a 'PCN' through the post. I've been back to look at the signs and it says u have to pay all times. Just my car thinking it was the free after 6 one. The parking fine board here did say still put in an appeal, but I don't know what reason to give, and there isn't an 'other' option.

There is a form to complete which can be emailed and then he can find out for sure what type of power of attorney the other brother has and its a free service. it only needs names, addresses and dates of birth so its quite straight forward.

    - I suppose the only difficulty would be if someone has moved house several times since something was set up or if they had changed their names eg by marriage or deed poll. Or if they didn't have a birth certificate - my Dad didn't so he had an official birthday and one that official bodies used.

It would def be a good starting point - I just had a "power of attorney" for my dad so its all changed in recent years.
If things were set up a while back they may be relevant or appropriate now for the current set of circumstances

No neither have moved and its only been set up 18 months since the father died, the person that is ill is only 50:( but it must be serious for him to tell the brother as normally he wouldn't worry him
    Thanks for your help x

Shouldn't you be wearing jeans tucked in your Hunters in case you have to muck out?

    Morning peeps.

See...this is what I thought curly.....however....they live in the field, eat and poo in the field and just need fresh water and carrots to survive:D

I don't even have to brush their hair:T:T

Poo picking can wait until their mama returns:D

Good morning all, another sunny day here.

    Good luck scamps :)

I really do not think they thought it through when they put you in charge  There is no way I would offer a horse a carrot with the tips of my fingers, it really is safer with the flat hand :rotfl::rotfl: Also means you can get up close and give them a stroke on the part of the mane above the nose.

    I have a new strategy:D

I dig my fingernails into the very end of the carrot, so I don't have to hold on to it:D

And yes.....we have progress. I have washed their faces tonight with the spray and big sponge:D
