Bubbs So happy for you both :T:T:T:T:T

I had an interview today and think I done enough to put them off. I like having time to myself just now :D

Its way too hot so going to put my feet up for a wee while

    I like your planning!
It was like that here yesterday but it soon burnt off, same this morning but not cleared yet.

Really!? I won't say what I think of Brid / Scarborough

    Pray tell...

They do attract a certain type of criminal, but Scarborough is nice for a day trip, Bridlington is nice for fish and chips.... but there are a lot of nicer placed nearby.

Thanks Zippy. My A has these new tills but I didn't dare try to scan. I shall be brave...

I was brave today and tried scanning my apg and receipt - and totally b'eed it up ! I don't know what the till did but it gave me 9p change on my yoghurt shop (£11) when I hadn't actually put any money in just an apg for around £8.50. Staff had several goes at sorting it and the till just kept kicking out a few pence change so had to take it all to CS for them to sort it manually. They said the new self service tills are worse than the old ones and that I should only use apg vouchers at manned tills. Ths real progress !

If I am still living here in 2020 I could be your poster girl - phase 2 smart meter to replace a possibly nearly 25 year old meter, so last century, replaced in a difficult position with no cost, annoyance or inconvenience to the customer!

We will all vote for you x

    Criminal me:eek:

    I've been to both today!
Woke up this morning to a fabulous sea view at the posh end of Scarborough in a very nice hotel.
We went to an Italian restaurant last night where the wine menu was . Flicked through to see mostly £50+ wines, there was even one bottle at £460 something :rotfl:.
So it's not all greasy spoons and rock shops westie. :D

Not been to brid before but nipped in on way home. Noticed the microwave omelette gadget that's been mentioned on the sw thread £1 from Boyes, the most old fashioned department store ever. Enjoyed it for a change.

Evening peeps, will catch up later......
