Depends whether it's a red or green day I think. Someone gave us the slimming world book years ago except it's changed since though.

I've been trying to be careful what I eat after my episode and have lost a few lbs. I find cutting the carbs works for me but I haven't cut them out completely this time, I've lost 8lb since mid may.

That reminds me I must remember to ring the other hospital to check availability for my appointment, local one only had the one date and it's when I am away. Told me to try the others first and if not ring back and they would take my name etc for the next date.

    8lbs:T:T

    That's brilliant....in only a few weeks too.

That programme has really made me think.

Think I'm going to pour those 2 bottles of Innocent smoothies down the sink:eek::rotfl:

The missus was making frustratingly slow progress on SW. She switched to low cal/carb diet and has steadily been losing weight

Yet it works for so many aau.....look at the folk on here who have lost so much.

The science doesn't seem to back it up though:think::think::think::think:

DD3 kick started her diet by doing Weight Watchers. She did really well, but shopping was a nightmare having to buy everything low fat.

Once of the recipes used turkey mince which I usually avoided when I saw it whoopsied but do you think when I actually wanted to buy it I ever saw it yellow stickered. Nope.

Thanks, I did lose 2 or 3lb straight off though. :o I couldn't really eat anything for a few days.

Mr TS has taken on board what the hospital doc said about eating earlier, so we have been having early teas instead of late dinners. :D

Sorry. It scanned at 7.97 so I have to take it back in a few days

    That sucks. :(

The SEL was still £7.97 in my store so there were loads left

Yes we is carb heavy but I don't eat rice/pasta/potatoes/bread as such if I have chips i only have about 8 but some people lose eating every meal.
Carbs are in alot of things though just not them.
If I wasn't diabetic I would have eaten them and sw just works if you follow it:T

I tried the Tesco multibuy with yellow stickers and it failed.

Fruit was "any 2 for £3" normally £2 each.

Reduced to £1.42 with yellow sticker and I wondered whether an extra £1 would come off at the till. £1.42 x 2 - £1= £1.84, but I was charged £2.84. I should have bought non yellow stickers for an extra 16p.

Thanks for everybody's replies on the meat multi-buys. I now feel terrible as I advised another yellow sticker shopper to add another pack of barbecue meat to her shopping to get the discount. The multi-buy definitely comes off though on the vegetables when it it 3 for 2 as I have done this several times recently. HTH
This worked for me the other day. I picked up a couple of bags of potatoes reduced to 50p each but had a 3 for 2 sticker on so I picked a third bag up and right enough was charged £1 for all three.

Morning Bubbs. Yes I'm fine thanks I've just not really had anything to say. I'm sorry to hear your hubby is suffering, at least you will both get a rest.
