Me and my brother were tasked with digging the garden pond as kids, needless to say it took many years :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: By the end it was family effort, well it was nearly 9ft x9ft and 3.5ft at it's deepest point.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Morning all.

We were mostly under grey cloud yesterday but very hot and sticky but I managed to get a lot done outside. We had a lot of growling thunder but I think the main storms were further south of us, more into Saffordshire so we just had the rain.
Even so OH shut down the main computer and unplugged the phone line as a just incase so we were cut off from the outside world last night :)

Its back to being gorgeous again - wouldn't it be nice to have a summer where you actually wear out your summer stuff and not just pack it away still with the labels on in September ...

Good morning yet another beautiful day here, hoinb to a bbq at my sisters today.

We didn't buy yesterday's car, it was advertised as immaculate so we drove 45 minutes to discover this was a very false claim, hey ho. Dh has just had a message from a car he made a lower offer on last week.

JTS please don't ho over doing it, I'd love a pond but with a little one its just not worth the risk. My sister has a pond so today should be interesting with two little ones padding around.

    Have a nice day.

I finally got around to trying on the sale stuff that I got from sainsburys Tu on Friday - 25% off sale weekend.

Best to order via the website as the stores don't have anything like the variety that is on the website - click and collect instore.

The embroidered floral shorts fit but I don't have the courage for them but I just wanted to try them on :o
Also I got one of last winters navy pinafores - v neck, very nice shape with a textured finished but slightly snug so if I can find the next size up today then it will be better - I wear so many winter layers underneath.
Also I got a very nice red floral halter neck swimsuit half price and then 25% off - I only swim on holiday but my justification is that I did brutally downsized the swimwear collection a few months back so this is allowed.

Best thing though was a sleeveless white shirt with embroidered flowers on one side - really gorgeous, very versatile and one of those shirts you will love forever and a 14 was plenty despite my chest. It was full price but at least it had the 25% off. I cant see it on the website :( so you will have to have a look instore.
I know many people hate sleeveless but there are always cardigans. I also tend to wear one of Primarks thin white camisoles underneath for modesty.
And yes its one of those that will crease badly :)

Please can I ask some questions of the experienced and knowledgeable ebay sellers please :D.

I was just glancing through Ebay this morning and I noticed Argos click and collect as a method for buyers. It looks like its free for buyers - as opposed to getting items posted to you so they have a better (and cheaper) choice - has anyone noticed an increase of sales because of this ie people opting for click and collect rather than postage?

I would be interested to know your experiences of Argos click and collect.

Buyers only get a week to collect parcels before they get returned - it does not seem very long but as more Sainsbury get an Argos inside I suppose it will get easier for buyers.

I was pondering about what I need to sell and I was thinking of just doing free postage (adjusting the start price to include this) but maybe its better to put postage separate so the start prices are lower in view of the Argos click and collect option.
I've read the rules and regs and it says minimum of £5 start price.

Also if you sell something and the buyer opts for click and collect does the buyer take the parcel to Argos to send it off on its journey and how long do you get to do this?
Our Argos inside Sainsburys is quite a distance but we get there about twice a week but there are others I can access via the train so its a good excuse for a day out :)

    Please check your app
Just in case you have lost it.
The NEW deal is that you need credit and phone needs something to be charged to your credit every six months.

Best deal I know of is Amerzoom £7.69 on prime for SIM and £10.00 credit
