Went to Morries yesterday to get the 8000 points via a voucher I had got. It wouldnt scan at the checkout the other day and CS was closed then. I had bought £75 amazon vouchers and £5+ of shopping. CS said they cant add points manually now and have to phone the number on the card. She offered to phone so let her. All was going well till person other end of the phone said to hold on a minute. Obviously they can check to see what I bought and came back and said sorry no can do as bought gift card. Awww well.
So then asked if I could have refund on the gift cards and was told no.
So expensive lesson learnt there :eek:0 -
Morning all
raining here but I think will stop soon and be a nice day
Vet advise needed. Took my Tes to the vet yesterday for her annual jabs and check up. Vet says Tes has a heart murmur and wants to do an xray with sedation to see how bad it is. Tes has no cough/breathlesness, is ok on long walks. Ive done some research as you do and cant see anywhere , where they advise to do xrays for a heart murmur. Any advise please. Am looking into getting a 2nd opinion.

My Irish Terrier Chloe was about 18 months when she came to her forever home.
When I took her vets for her first doggy mot was told she had an heart murmur.
Didn't have no x-ray ever no pills nothing. You wouldn't have known she had said heart murmur if vet hadn't told me.
Chloe lived til she was 13 years. If you remember she was my girl who needed a doggy buggy in the last couple months of her live because her legs stopped her walking far.
Don't know if the above helps you or not.0 -
Morning all - today is the day to look through your email inboxes to find anything vital in regards to GDPR
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Data_Protection_Regulation
My inbox is clogged - there are about 2 and a half thousand emails that have come in since the start of April when I did the last big delete and about 90% of them are about GDPR, often the same emails coming in multiple times so you don't know if you have dealt with them or not. I've been waiting for a wet afternoon but as its not happened its not been done.
Some of them require you to reregister and some like mysupermarket ask you to log onto your account - its so long since I registered with mys I don't even know the passwords anymore so I will need to do a password reset and it all takes time ...
I will get fed up after half an hour and start mass deleting anything I can live without“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Our Ronnie has a slight murmur but that's mainly because of his age. He really needs dental surgery but he cant have it because of the murmur as its not advisable to have sedation.
If Tes needs an x ray she would need to have a full anaesthetic These things always carry an element of risk so it depends on how you would feel about her having a full anaesthetic.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning from sunny Cumbria!
Tu clothing is 25% off at present. Yesterday I was wearing a summer dress bought last year so hoping it stays that way during the 10x points promotion at the weekend.
I went in the wardrobe in search of something different and found 2 maxi dresses bought in a previous summer - maybe 2017 or even 2016 in the sale or maybe a 25% off weekend - and both perfect for this gorgeous weather we are having.
Tu clothing I quite like but what you get this year you have to put into storage for a while so you are not wearing the same as everyone else
I desperately wanted to go and look at the sales yesterday when we were in sainsbobs but we ran short of time. I took pics of everything I liked on the last visit.
Tu also have a bad habit of having a 25% off sale so you get the things you like and then 5 weeks later whatever you bought will go half price“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Mine was delayed as they didn't know if Dubai caused any restriction and the computer was not working at the time. Kept me waiting for about half an hour but eventually took it:T

Yes its best to ring them up if you are going anywhere on holiday - sometimes its not how exotic your holiday destination that is the problem, its also the time of year that you are going to be there. They update their lists very frequently.
Even places like Madeira can be on the banned list at certain times of the year.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
