I had a brilliant lightbulb moment and remembered a small family run stonemason I pass on the way to work. They make memorials and gravestones....a well respected family business.
I picked the worktop up today and it is perfect plus a worktop saver, beautifully edged and polished for the total price of £50:T
Lateral thinking meets money saving:D
My kind of thinking
Wood chippings for garden from tree surgeons, local forestry estates.
Eggs from local farms, did you know double yolkers aren't bought by suppliers, also they occur more in free range.
Compost from recycling centres,
Banana boxes for packing free from friendly supermarkets for sturdy storage.
Boxes for Fleabay sales from local shops, sweetie boxes for smaller items etc, saves them a charge for bins.
Etc etc etc.0 -
Topcashback offers this week
Chicken livers:eek::eek:
The only highlight is the large pots of yoghurt

raining here but I think will stop soon and be a nice day
Vet advise needed. Took my Tes to the vet yesterday for her annual jabs and check up. Vet says Tes has a heart murmur and wants to do an xray with sedation to see how bad it is. Tes has no cough/breathlesness, is ok on long walks. Ive done some research as you do and cant see anywhere , where they advise to do xrays for a heart murmur. Any advise please. Am looking into getting a 2nd opinion.
