OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

It is hard to relax with a foot and a half of probe down your throat, but once its done its done. So concentrate on relaxing, makes it easier for them (so quicker), and easier for you.
Thanks for the insight. Hope all was well with you.
Not sure I will be able to relax on this one though, I was first told it might be necessary about 15 years ago.
I am usually really good with any tests etc but I have a terrible gag reflex, I am really really nervous about it. :eek:0 -

I have a small hiatus hernia, i take lansoprazole , the camera is uncomfortable but soon over and done with, yes you eat your main meal late, i didnt have the same symptoms as you, i thought i was having a heart attack:eek: my god never felt pain like it and couldnt eat more than 1/4 slice toast for a meal :eek:
That's what I have been taking since last autumn bubbs. It's stopped the bubbles (like space dust in my throat feeling) and wheezing I was getting. But I have still had the bouts of excruciating pain in the top of my stomach, it's definitely not chest pain. I can only liken it to labour pains.I have been sick with it on occasion when it's been really bad but this is the worst it has been since taking lansoprazole, and I have not bled before, the GP lowered my dose in feb as I was getting on ok. Hospital doc said to take gaviscon before meals to line everything and that is helping. I really don't feel right this time though but that maybe because I am anxious, usually I have a bout, feel like my insides have been through a fight the next morning and then get over it but I had another bad night on Sunday I usually get weeks if not months gaps.
I'm sure it's not anything serious as I have had these pains for nearly 20 years now but need to get to bottom of it.

Morning
Well I missed the Royal wedding as ended up in A&E
I thought I had posted from my hospital bed but not sure what I did.
My continuing stomach problem has taken a turn for the worst very scary as I brought up bit of the red stuff.
Was proded and pokedand full set of bloods done which thankfully were ok and told most probably abrasions on my oesophagus. But I have appointment with GP today as was suggested it is properly investigated something I have always put off.
Oh our lovely TS.....no putting anything off anymore. Go and get yourself sorted out or you'll have the Elite to answer to.

At last I have a Waitroses mailing - except its not very :j
I have 30p off fruit and 30p off vegetables valid until June 30th - well that has to be the least exciting MOCs ever.
Also I have 4 conditional spends
spend £40 save £4
all valid until June 30th
I have enough trouble spending £10 in Waitroses never mind £40. These have my name on so I cant really just give them away in the store like I normally do.
Also Boots sent me a sheet of MOCs but they look similar to what is on the app but they include a conditional spend - spend £20 save £5 - all valid until 31/08
These might all have to go into the paper waste basket sadly - I don't imagine there are many Elite who both spend £40 in Waitroses at least once a week and then go and do Boots shopping as well ...
I got the 30p off fruit and veg too and £6 off £30.
Has anyone spotted anything worth getting?
I'm thinking spirits but haven't looked at the W prices.
Anyone interested in shampoo?:o
These Pantenes are £4 each or 2 for £4
I'm thinking buy 6 and till sees £24. Hopefully make the £6 up with coffee, mag and paper.
Actual cost is £12 less £6
£6 the lot:)
I don't shop at W very often so this might be a load of rubbish:rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

Fuzzy, the beer isnt a compare thing, it is £1 back on COS.CS so works out, if you get it from adsa at 50p a bottle.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Here I is:hello:
Sorry to be so elusive, RL is keeping me busy!
Been to Dubai for a couple of weeks (amazing place, well worth visiting) A couple of short breaks in London Town supporting the Mighty Blues, some home DIY to keep Wifey happy, Babysitting GC's and DD's Cat, Walking 4 miles a day to get to 10k steps per day to keep fit etc.
Over 20 years ago our local Council wanted to close our Outdoor Swimming Pool. We fought a campaign to keep it open and a group of us formed a Charity Trust to take it over and we have run it ever since, now as a Registered Charity. This obviously means running it ourselves with a lot of Volunteer Help, the only paid Staff being the Lifeguards. The Pool is almost Olympic size (50yds rather than 50m) and is set in lovely grounds.
All of this takes a lot of maintenance so I, and many others, have been busy in recent weeks getting it ready for the Opening of the new season starting this Saturday. The Pool has been drained, pressure-washed, painted, refilled and now heated and is looking fantastic:j I have been able to spend a lot more time there this year and the weather has been brilliant so we have got a lot done.

So I have only been Lurking most of the last few weeks but I have been keeping an eye on you all:cool:
I'm ready for a few Glitches now so let's go!
This Retirement Lark is exhausting:)

I'm sure I saw this on TV recently. Has there been a documentary about it in the last few weeks?
This explains why you used to honk in your speedos some mornings.
