Best to get checked out. A friend had similar and was banned from eating tomatoes. Too acidic at the point they reach the oesophagus apparently. Also told not to have boiling hot drinks.

I never drink boiling hot drinks, so I'm good there as only ever drink anything lukewarm according to Mr TS. :o

Well this doc thinks it might be a hiatus hernia.

But is writing for me to finally have the Endoscopy I have put off. :o Says they can sedate me... No comments please DM. :p

It was due to be one of my "wider stores" collections in M today. However, I decided that it was not worth bothering with as, according to my list, I had almost nothing due to expire. Therefore, in order to save costs (saving money), I have not done the wider stores. Due to the Bank Holiday I have next week, I'm not now due in M for another week:j and I don't seem to have much due to expire by next week either, so I again won't be bothering travelling to the further stores and, in any event, I'm not able to do so next week. The wider stores may now be on 6th June. I have got items from online, which I will keep an eye on to see if they change and it's already helpfully been confirmed that some of the items I have only in a store farther away, which I've seen at a couple of different times already, are offers for Ramadan which is still ongoing - so, might well end mid-June (I may push off my extended visits until after then).

It's not primarily a question of petrol costs as I can pay those (despite them seeming to increase by a penny a litre per day over the last few days - one increase of three pence a litre would presumably have got noticed or got an outcry so it seems one penny every day or every other day doesn't get noticed as much - the prices at the pumps have been creeping up - and on top of that, I now have one store, fifteen miles away from the others, that is now a full 7p per litre more expensive than the other Ms are even despite their prices going up too). It's more a question of mileage, which then sees my car being serviced more often and then costs more because of that as well as wear and tear on the car. I think it's like having a boiler. The best way of making sure the boiler never breaks down or needs any repairs is never to use it at all. (I was actually told that the last time I had a boiler service - don't use it at all and it will stay in full working order!) Which rather defeats the point of having a boiler. Just buy something and never use it ever as they don't make things to be used and everything will be fine!:rotfl::( Pairs of shoes - they don't ever wear out if you never wear them and as long as nothing that damages them ever touches them, so just buy them and don't use them - that way they will last 'forever':D:(:rotfl: - hopeless, hopeless - I actually buy shoes in order to... put them on!

As regards nothing expiring in M today, that's not quite the case as I have still come back with several changes to make. I have about as much as Monday, which wasn't much, possibly a little more - the main changes appear to be that the Pork Shoulder, which should currently have £2.50 per Kg. for M, looks set to go to £3.77 per Kg. whenever the system updates and I now have both versions of White Finger Rolls - never sure which one, if any, the APG compares against - at 50p. The APG is possibly currently on 65p as they always seem to get whichever is the higher-priced one:( but it should change to 50p. That's if it compares at all (has been known to be N/A on occasions in the past).

I am thinking that the fresh Quorn products (Chicken Slices, Ham Slices, Cocktail Sausages, Picnic Eggs) are still £1 instore despite online last time changing on all of them to full prices. I have all my four stores continuing to display £1 on each of them, which is most probably because the offers are still on - it seems that online sometimes changes automatically to full price after an offer date was originally due to expire but they seem to have rolled over instore (although it's possible that I have four stores, none of which have changed their SELs).

Other than that - the chilled 1L Alpro drinks are full price - at least one of them is and I think all of them are now except for three different Soyas. I had some of the desserts - Heroes, Oreo and Quality Street Triangle - due to expire. There isn't actually an expiry date on the offer of these - they are items that seem to be brought in specially to M stores from time to time and seem always to remain at the same price until stocks are exhausted. They are then absent from stores until they arrive again later. The 'expiry' dates have put, for this period of their appearance, are the longest BB dates that I had on any stock that I saw. If I now lose them, this period I am now assuming that they remain continuously in stock somewhere at their regular M price until the longest BB date that I had. Those dates have now been reached - despite me extending them every time I have found longer-dated stock than I saw before - and, at the risk of yet again removing items that someone still has, I have not currently seen any replenished stock and therefore I'll take them off the list until they return for me again or until some evidence is posted (possibly on hotukdeals) showing that they are in stock in M for someone somewhere.

I had the Oasis/Coca Cola/Fanta etc. 500ml mbuy due to expire. What seems to have happened today is that the 2 for £2.20 continues on the items except for regular versions of Coca Cola (I have a small number of flavours, referring here to non-Diet and non-Zero) that, highly likely due to the "sugar tax", have now gone to 2 for £2.50 (and individual £1.50). The regular versions of Fanta still appear to be on the 2 for £2.20 offer - I assume they reduced their sugar below the amount that gets the tax.

There may be a couple of changes on some SP-equivalent cooking sauces that seem may have crept up in price in M and I have noticed a tiny detail of the Savers Garden Peas seeming to go up by one penny. I have also lost the Savers Vegetable Soup tin from all these four stores - it seems the product may have been discontinued and I now only have Tomato Soup and Chicken Soup. I may extend the date again on the Smoked and Unsmoked £3 per Kg. gammon joints. That offer price has now been on for several months - I have stock somewhere now taking me to at least mid-June on both versions - it's "priced" so I think will remain at whatever price the individual joints came in on until they eventually get sold. Different joints will be even cheaper than £3 per Kg. if they reach their BB dates.

They offered me a jab to calm me, I asked what was "best" they said to go without.
It is hard to relax with a foot and a half of probe down your throat, but once its done its done. So concentrate on relaxing, makes it easier for them (so quicker), and easier for you.
