    Hello strangers !!!128563;
    Can’t belive it’s been 5 years since I was last here !!!128561;
    been lurking a bit for the last couple of weeks but this post made me want to log in and reply
    AJ check out eBay for MS office 2016
    Done it a few weeks ago(after reading about it on mse) and it cost me £3.50 or so for a version that doesn’t ‘block’ you after a year !!!128548; was really mad as I had no idea when I first bought the stupid subscription !!!128548; I know some say that it’s not ‘morally right’ or something but I don’t care !!!128541;
    I used to use OpenOffice in the past but needed the proper thing and it works perfectly

    Anyhow hth xx

    Hello stranger, I’ve intended wondered where you went to. Is it really 5 years? Nice to see you again, are you her3 to stay?

    I did think about that but J haven’t even hit a slot to put it in grrrrr. Never again will I let Mr AJ go choose a laptop fir me. You did well on eBay though. :)

    I did have Office on desk top and word still on old laptop but this new one has nothing. Can’t belueve the Office 360, who in their right mind would pay yearly, not me :rotfl:

    I tried transferring Office off our old desktop to the new one, turned out Office 2003 would not load onto a Windows 10 desktop :rotfl::rotfl:

    Definitely Ebay. Apparently it comes with new computers (Office not Ebay) and the resellers sell off the keys, so it is a legitimate purchase, just you are putting it on a different machine than originally intended.

    So you don’t get a disc? Or yes you do, what do you do with th3 key please? xx

    Thank you all for your suggestions, I may have to pay real money to go to PHutt :eek:. And then we still have PEx and B/italia vouchers to use, what is not to like :).

    What were the pizzas about a couple of years ago where we got a load of vouchers by entering the code that was inside the box?

    I thought you had plenty pizzas :rotfl: I’d rather B/Italia xx

    My laptop doesn't have a DVD drive either but you can buy a usb one fairly cheaply. I did it some time ago and it was about £12 I think.

    Added to my ‘look into’ list, thanks for that xx

    I got some office 365 licences off ebay, about a tenner for a year, bought 4 then bought 1 month of 'family office 365', added them all to account and had office licences for 4 users for 4 years plus you can then use the web version too :)

    Sounds a good way to go about it. Added to list, thank you xx

    They were Dr O pizzas. They were passable for free, but I have not bought any since, so the promo failed on me :D.

    I can sit tomorrow morning and check out all this brilliant info, thank you very much. I didn’t want to go Techie thread as they can talk in a strange techie tongue and I’m a bit thick when it comes to stuff like this :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
