Dr O wasn't pizza ... :D. My freezers don't have any pizza at the the moment :(.

Thank you all for your suggestions, I may have to pay real money to go to PHutt . And then we still have PEx and B/italia vouchers to use, what is not to like :).

    I need help please :o

So my new laptop hasn’t got Microsoft Word, there is an offer to try or buy on there but the price

No DVD slot (blame Mr AJ) so I can’t even buy a cheap one to install.

Question is: Is there anything online free that would give me word, if anything else if it’s free :o  thank you xx

My laptop doesn't have a DVD drive either but you can buy a usb one fairly cheaply. I did it some time ago and it was about £12 I think.

Bit of research and I think LibreOffice is what you need AJ.

I think OpenOffice is old now not sure if it's up to date anymore, wiki mentions openoffice then Apache openoffice then LibreOffice maybe it's some sort of reincarnation we need someone techie. :o

Ah, that’s the one I looked for but couldn’t remember the name, hence me finding yogurt :rotfl:

    Just catching up xx

Do you mean Libraoffice? I use that one instead of Excel.

Yes pk, is that the one that has documents on it ? I don’t know anything about it but heard it mentioned a couple of years ago xx

I got some office 365 licences off ebay, about a tenner for a year, bought 4 then bought 1 month of 'family office 365', added them all to account and had office licences for 4 users for 4 years plus you can then use the web version too :)
    I think....

Only about 25 miles, we have actually done it through a Notcutts that has contacts with a breeder that has been going for 30 years :D

That’s not far at all then. Bet you’re getting excited, lovely birds :T

I use OpenOffice too, find it perfectly good, and I get on well with the spreadsheets.

We have MS Office on the office computer, but we have an IT contact that had a spare licence for it. Office 360 must be a bit of a money spinner though, yearly subsccription  That's the way a lot of software seems to be going though :(

I did have Office on desk top and word still on old laptop but this new one has nothing. Can’t belueve the Office 360, who in their right mind would pay yearly, not me :rotfl:
