I need help please

So my new laptop hasn’t got Microsoft Word, there is an offer to try or buy on there but the price :eek:

No DVD slot (blame Mr AJ) so I can’t even buy a cheap one to install.

Question is: Is there anything online free that would give me word, if anything else if it’s free :cool: thank you xx

On our old desktop we used to use something called Openoffice.org, it was very good and similar to Microsoft Word.

Seems it's still about under the name of Apache Open Office now. I'm just checking this out right now AJ, not sure if that is right or not that it is under different name.

The girls used to use it to do their school work and had no trouble reading or editing stuff created in Word at school, think there was a way to save something if created in OpenOffice so it was readable in Word at school. But it was a few years ago now so I'm not sure of the detail. :eek:
