  • These Ultra rich people may hide behind "It isn't illegal", maybe not, but in my opinion POSITIVELY immoral and selfish.

Look at Lewis Hamilton's jet. £3 million VAT refund for a plaything? Let me think.... an average overworked nurse earns say £25,000 a year. £3,000,000.00 divided by £25,000.00 = 140 nurses. How many lives might have been saved or improved if he paid his FAIR share.

You have people who have little enough for themselves and sharing what they have with others and the super rich not even walking the same street, they are flying overhead drinking champagne and wearing their bling.

I'd suggest that the vast majority of people here, if in the same position as LH would be doing exactly the same to protect their assets and pay as little tax as possible, and to say otherwise would be very hypocritical for most.
It's in the human physchee not to want to handover more money to the Government than is absolutely necessary.
These so called revelations are absolutely nothing new.

Such a shame about the old thread but glad a new home has been found :j

Not sure if anyone else got the maltsmiths from cos but if so check the dates :o end of November 17! :o

Took them back and managed to swap them for another brand as all the maltsmiths on the shelf had the same date. Fine if they won't last that long of course but i was going to use mine in some Christmas hampers :)
