now that takes me back! It was a phrase frequently used in our family many years ago. You don't hear it very often nowadays.

That's how my parents used to describe my bedroom lol

    Morning all

Just made a brew and then came to download the previous nights emails and out of my window there was a very beautiful intense rainbow. It lasted about 5 minutes before gradually fading away

We are back to the usual grey miserable blanket and quite a jiggy wind.

Much like life really - 5 mins of intense joy, colour and happiness and then back to normal

    Good morning all....

Very gentle hugs to dearest Sal xx

Sarah...an apology...I hadn't realised or read well enough that your OH was going back for more throat consultation.....but bet you are releived that this may now be the end of it.

Beautiful pet pictures....the place is looking lovely.

Maybe we now need a few cakes....or perhaps when TM is back from welcoming home her travelling Son she might put on a bit of a "welcome to our new home buffet"

Thank you to Redfox for the explanation regarding the deletion...although it does beg the question that whilst the number of clicks needed to be justified spam is not currently known...the fact remains that we were clearly targeted yesterday.
If the number of clicks can be reset at a higher than standard amount then is that possible for this thread....there is clearly a lot of traffic through the thread so it may be appropriate that this thread has to have a higher "hit rate" before it is taken down.

HOW many times does this thread need to be spammed before those that run it at a high level either remove us completely through no fault of our own or accept that there is a minority out there who wish to see us gone and eventually do something about it.

What happened yesterday was unfortunate,I think we all agree....but we simply can't allow it to continue adhoc going forward....we could be needing re homing on a weekly basis if few choose to meddle.

Anyway...what's done is done and it's onwards from here....

    Have a lovely day all.....

If there wasn't a "normal" there would be no joy.

  • These Ultra rich people may hide behind "It isn't illegal", maybe not, but in my opinion POSITIVELY immoral and selfish.

Look at Lewis Hamilton's jet. £3 million VAT refund for a plaything? Let me think.... an average overworked nurse earns say £25,000 a year. £3,000,000.00 divided by £25,000.00 = 140 nurses. How many lives might have been saved or improved if he paid his FAIR share.

You have people who have little enough for themselves and sharing what they have with others and the super rich not even walking the same street, they are flying overhead drinking champagne and wearing their bling.

Isn't it strange that something like a rainbow can be a thing of beauty to some and totally different to others....I am frightened of rainbows....they really freak me out and always have done...no pot of gold for me!

There is also a very strange book with the same title
