Look at Lewis Hamilton's jet. £3 million VAT refund for a plaything? Let me think.... an average overworked nurse earns say £25,000 a year. £3,000,000.00 divided by £25,000.00 = 140 nurses. How many lives might have been saved or improved if he paid his FAIR share.
You have people who have little enough for themselves and sharing what they have with others and the super rich not even walking the same street, they are flying overhead drinking champagne and wearing their bling.
If it's the money then thats a fault of society and the ludicrous sums of money that some sectors are prepared to pay.
The other way to look at it...and I'm really doing the devils advocate thing here is....we all want the best for our money...even here we chase the interest rates, best sign up deals etc....what truly is the difference other than the sums of money involved.
You can't tell me you don't chase a bargain or a freebie...and are quite happy to have multiple sim cards for the likes of greggs etc.
My personal view is...what you earn is what you earn...how you choose to distribute that money is your entitlement and there will always be people who look for ways to obtain the biggest gain on what they have....whether that be a lot or a littlefrugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
