Anon, even if you stay I would be putting a complaint in with them. With BT, as soon as you mention to them about going to OFCOM, they seem to get their !!!!!! into gear.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Why is Benidorm not on tonight???
Edit: This show is missing from this week's schedule due to a performance of The Real Full Monty being shown to raise awareness of men's cancers.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I have had numerous problems with BT faffing about with my charges and I absolutely hate the eastern call centre lot ! I have had to go to Head office several times and have had some success with 01277 326261. That gets you through (usually) to a voice mail service for one of the senior staff - who usually get on the case pretty quickly when you explain how they have messed you about. Might be worth a try ?
I second this. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Not tested 1 day to goQuick advice please ... my ongoing BeeTee / V1rgin saga ....
So I cancelled Bee Tee yesterday as we decided to return to V1rgin - this is wihtin the 14 day cooling off period. They have just informed me I will face up to £200 charges . I read the costs of installing the line may be due and the T& Cs at the time - however, I went on online chat last week and asked about the cooling off period and explicitly whether there were any charges as they had installed the line. The chat person went off to check and confirmed no, as it was within the 14 days. I have had quite a heated discussion within one of the cancellation team who has basically said the chat operative was wrong, it was misinformation but the contract is clear and therefore the fees are liable . This is despite me making the decision to return to V1rgin and cancel BeeTee on the basis of what she said.
Any ideas? I can always cancel may cancellation if it is going to cost more than keeping it live ....

Heads up for a potential V1rgin Media offer of interest to potentially someone on here (this is not about my deal
). A new offer has appeared offering 100mb bb on the player package for the same price as 50mb.
It is £29 per month, 12 month contract and 20 activation. Until midnight tonight free wine or £50 account credit. £42.00 TCB.
The cost would be £368 for the year minus the account credit and Cashback - £276 for the year/£23 per month.
Pay the line rental saver and it would bring the price down to £20 per month (after £196 up front).
