In fact I have been delayed so long, my shop has now become due:

9 items (8 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda sainsbury's
    1x Baxters Favourites CockA-Leekie Soup (400g) £1.07 £0.75
    1x Baxters Favourites Minestrone Soup (400g) £1.07 £0.75
    1x ASDA Smart Price Chocolate Mousses (6x60g) £0.30 N/A:j
2x ASDA Smartprice Sponge Scourers (8pk) £0.80 N/A:j (but comp. vs T has been lost recently due to T going no trace or, at any rate, going no trace online:mad:)
    1x ASDA Smart Price Mixed Vegetables (1kg) £0.82 £0.90
    2x ASDA Smart Price Irish Stew (392g) £1.18 £1.20
1x ASDA Smart Price Sliced Carrots in Water (300g) £0.20 £0.20
1x ASDA Smart Price Milk Chocolate Digestive Bars (20x19g) £1.33 £1.25
    1x Baxters Favourites Scotch Broth (400g) £1.07 £0.75
    1x Baxters Vegetarian Country Garden (400g) £1.07 £0.75
Comparison total (compared products only) £7.81 £6.55
    +£1.26 cheaper

It didn't give much APG though:(, because it was a shop of items I needed or, in the case of the Chocolate Digestive Bars, wanted to buy against the best place to compare against for that item. It's actually a couple of pence better than my original shop - I had Spiral Scourers that do not compare against anywhere unfortunately on that but my store was OOS so I picked up some of the other type of scourers, for another occasion, and put a Carrots tin to compare against S (difficult getting items against there). I was thinking of replacing the second pack of Scourers with another 40p item such as the Chocolate Cookies or the SP Caramel bars but, good job I didn't, as has anyone seen how expensive S turns out to be on those?

I bought, unusually, two of the Irish Stew - I usually buy only one of each item so I can re-use the same item on a later shop as one of the eight items and then not needing to find more items to get - however, on this occasion, I shop so rarely against S due to how difficult it is to get any good items vs there usually, that I stand little chance of doing another vs S shop for what I need. Once this glitch is over, I simply won't have eight different items to go against S due to S's mainly expensive prices - and more difficult with my SP lists unfortunately having been lost when the last thread got deleted. I miss that information, that I could have done with, but it took so long to compile it - including checking all three relevant competitor websites for every item - that it will be hard to do again (simply too time-consuming, so I think everyone will have to make do without it).

The mix and match soup above (slightly different to before) would have worked against T as those four do pick up T's mbuy. I am always thinking I will pick some mix that hasn't got T's mbuy with it, especially as it is me trying to compare against T earlier. At least vs S stood to lose just one vs 75p in case the different soup I bought this time failed to pick up S but, of course, I am fine with vs S it's just Mr T putting its prices up that thwarts my shops vs T:mad:.

Btw, 1Kg fresh carrots are 29p in Lidl (as at a few days' ago) but those tins are sometimes needed for the future - I bet somewhere will go to 19p on its bags of carrots now I got caught by 29p:(:rotfl:.

So much for me doing my good deed for the day ... it always goes around and bites me on the bum.

What is wrong with the younger generation, this come day go day attitude, that they cant look after their possessions and treasure their stuff

I've seen mending kits on amazon - just wondering how difficult they would be to tackle - OH is very good with this sort of intricate stuff - and it would be here on Sunday and fixed.
