On self service eg tap android pay and hold the camera on the back right close to where the numbers are and voila 9 times out of 10 you will get a prize draw entry :)

I was confuddled for a while SSM. Even if there is no android pay sign, as long as it has the contactless sign it should work (and on some Asda tills even if it does not have the sign but contactless works in store it should work by selecting pay by credit/debit card) then, where you would normally hold your card to the machine for contactless, simply hold your phone to the machine instead. Note: you do not need the app to be open but your phone needs to be unlocked. The machine should beep and you will see a green tick appear on your phone screen.

Thanks for your help. I had tried to pay holding the screen to the pay thing.. doh! I even had several SA trying to figure it out.... :DI will try again tomorrow. x

So much for me doing my good deed for the day ... it always goes around and bites me on the bum.

What is wrong with the younger generation, this come day go day attitude, that they cant look after their possessions and treasure their stuff

I've seen mending kits on amazon - just wondering how difficult they would be to tackle - OH is very good with this sort of intricate stuff - and it would be here on Sunday and fixed.

Yes but as I said there could be two prices. I can’t remember what the second one was that he said but it would be more intricate hence the extra cost. Mine s cracked but it still does the job so he advised me not to bother. It would have been the cheaper of the two at £65 which is a wonder lol. Even so I did nt bother. I’m typing on it now . Not many folk in a shop would say that t you would they.

Its errant sons mini ipad and god knows what filth is on it :rotfl:

Just wish I knew what his passcode was :D

And no I would not be happy handing any ipad over to anyone overnight even for fixing and mending purposes - have to see what OH says to plan B

It did have a little crack down one side - he didn't say anything about it so we didn't either.
But now I found it today and put it on charge for him for when he gets back and the screen has a star gaze on it like its been stood on  so its useable but only just.
He will want to take it on holiday with him - kids, one big problem after another ..

Found Roy Roger's horse for Sada 5 for £3 Bought shloop and Heinz lentil & bacon invisible, compared to M here, best bet seems to be buy horsey and 4 Baxters shloop, on offer at T for 4 for £3, compares the 4 at £1.07 v 75p, net pag £1.12 off of £3.00. So 5 tins shloop for £1.88 or £0.376666666 each. not a biggie, but maybe a filler option?

Lots of things on 5 for £3, so worth a look to see if any better comparisons.

I think the trigger is the Heinz lentil & bacon soup bubbles.

    Good evening peeps.
Day 3 AP: generally these were not the droids I was looking for :D. but did get £3 M&S plus a coke.

I'm now wondering if I should try to return the lip balm and the hand cream or just take the hit.

But the Benefit sets worked against T so thank you, whoever worked that out, and especially 3dogs for the wonderful list.

Hand cream comparing against waitrose £18-£13.98.
