I've got a note on the google calendar which says for this weekend

"Has the Sunlife £100 amazon e voucher arrived - if so cancel direct debit"

The 1st payment went out but no sign of the e voucher yet - has anyone else had theirs yet?

Evening elite, if any one took advantage of the groupon Costco deal then the vouchers that they give you expire at the end of November. Couldn't believe it when I cancelled my membership today (expires end of November) they gave me the whole years membership fee back. Will join Costco tomorrow as a new member with my groupon deal and spend my vouchers :)

Advice please about replacing an ipad screen - I am thinking that sometimes there are market places that replace phone screens so maybe ipads as well?
And do they do them on the spot - I am loathe to leave it with anyone.
    And if so how much?

OH seems to think £20 but he underestimates what things cost worst than I do but if that is all it is then we can get to sorted out ASAP

No, its not me - you know my ipad is my most prized possession and I've never even dropped mine on the carpet and we have a strict no devices on the floor rule

It’s more than £20 lol I ve had two quotes depending on what they have to do . The easiest option is £65 and the other over £100.

Oh I know lol. Waiting at the self scan with the lad or woman wondering what you are doing.

I was so amazed at winning a £5 Greggs one that I went and showed him and he said I wondered what you were doing .

Finding it very difficult to pack my suitcase for Australia and not put winter clothing in! Ds1 insists I don't need any but I can't imagine not needing cold weather clothing despite the fact that I lived in SA for 14 years and know how hot it is. Four boxes of cinnamon are in though:rotfl:

So much for me doing my good deed for the day ... it always goes around and bites me on the bum.

What is wrong with the younger generation, this come day go day attitude, that they cant look after their possessions and treasure their stuff

I've seen mending kits on amazon - just wondering how difficult they would be to tackle - OH is very good with this sort of intricate stuff - and it would be here on Sunday and fixed.
