In my usual style had a fun morning, after getting up to snow and having a job interview first thing, oh checked our little lane and said car may not get out as it had not been gritted and there is a steep hill. So he said we would take the land-rover, he got it out of the parking took it to hay the animals then when I was ready it would not start. he checked a few things then said we will have to take car, managed to get out with a bit of hastle sliding everywhere. Was going to get there on time when police blocking road a lorry had shed half its load  took a detour got to interview on time, and honestly the lad interviewing me looked about 12:o he is area manager of 7 stores made me feel ancient like I should be in retirement home. :rotfl:
I also discovered this morning that the copy of wedding certificate I need for the job I have already got was not going to arrive as church still has book but they are not quite sure where it is.

Forgot to say was shocked on way back lorry was still in road it was carrying granite and marble for the local kitchen shop, and some pieces where in road but half still on lorry. Council and place got a jcb and pulled the whole lot of the lorry onto the verge smashing it all, so the lorry could be moved, the driver looked devastated.

    Good morning lovely peoples

Happy Birthday to tweets and midwinter - hope you both have the loveliest of days :bdaycake::bdaycake: __party__party_

Thinking of Di - anyone heard from her?

My boiler broke down yesterday - just as the Beast from the East arrives :o

Waiting for a Safe Gas Engineer today

Make sure you ask him if he is the “safe”one:o

The last thing you want is an “unsafe” gas engineer:o

    Goodness knows what might happen;):p

That Sister been for a check up in South Wales. Her neck is now healing nicely (the RT burns got very weepy & had to have them dressed)
They want her to start feeding herself orally trying juices & smoothies so her throat is improving enough to accept liquids now :T
