May be good with the price of M's Savers chips having gone up.
I don't know if they compare this vs M though - afaik Roast Potatoes don't work. Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be 36p per pack as M is 900g so there is a weight adjustment upwards (even if they do weight adjustments - they might miss the M product altogether like they do so far as I have seen on roast potatoes and SP frozen peas, different pack sizes that are bang on the 10% weight boundary).

This is looking like £1.25 vs £1.09 or 27p per pack at best, or probably, more likely, N/A.
As well as the Savers chips going up from 81p to 86p (a change that already happened by last weekend), the main change on Monday was the AB Roast Potatoes 800g. I currently believe that they have gone up from £1.00 to £1.80 in M. That's if my store isn't giving me an incorrect SEL, so I now go to check online to see if my store was giving me a correct price - shall we find out together?
[Checks online.]
Yes, £1.80 M:(.
Talking of "less fat" things and eat "smart", I also think the twin baguettes, both the regular and the Eat Smart version, have gone from £1 to £1.40 in M. I was having trouble 'behind the scenes' last week with my stores' SELs over those with several stores showing back then what I came to believe was incorrect full price £1.40 SEL - I eventually scanned one at the till and found it was £1 and the other one was marked with £1 SEL in the store (and more generally was £1 SEL for me elsewhere) - it's small wonder as I believe the APG at one stage went to £1.40 as did I, at a time when I now believe they may have been £1. At least one of them was £1 last week (I believe very likely both of them were) but I think that price has now ended and they are now £1.40. I think they are properly £1.40 now, even with me still having some stock on the generally marked £1 aisle end shelves yesterday, as I was getting £1.40 more consistently on price ticket SELs without the occasional £1 to pull me back. It therefore looks to me that these twin baguettes are off but the baguette slices (again in both regular and eat smart) are still £1 and this seems consistent with the offer periods as was indicated last week by periods showing during which higher prices had applied which were different for the two ranges.
Therefore I think it's now slightly more clearly the two baguette slices packs at £1 each and the two twin baguettes at £1.40 each. [End now if you don't want the detail:rotfl:.] My problem was that two of my stores were already showing £1.40 last week when I believe they were not (at least one of them was not) so I wasn't sure if the price had changed but I think it has (I am having several other stores showing £1.40 now - and no stores with price tickets of £1, despite my one of my stores with last week's £1.40 having the aisle end stock:huh: - I don't think that's correct: they just hadn't moved all the stock around on the morning of what seems likely to be the price change. I am learning to ignore aisle end stock that I don't think matches up with the main aisles:rotfl: , when I think there has been a change to full price (:( as it will be situations where M's price has gone back up)).0 -

Happy birthday tweets :j:j
Happy birthday midwinter :j:j
Hope you both have brilliant birthdays.
altojack, sorry to here your poorly-sick. Hope the meds work this time and you are soon up and about feeling better.
So far this week; Central Heating not working again BG didn't turn up for booked appointment on Saturday.. Re-arranged for next day, they came and changed another part. May or may not be fixed.
Next day phone call to say they were on their way, but no appointment booked  they had their wires crossed.
Terms and conditions £30.00 goodwill if they don't turn up and don't let you know, but what a faff claiming it
Went shopping Monday night, boot wouldn't open when got home.
Food stuck in boot. Been to garage this morning, they can't look at it until tomorrowBut did something electronic to open boot so could get food out
Mum has lost her mobile phone
Took her to friends 90th birthday party on Sunday. Made sure she was in venue and sat down before I left her, with instructions to ring me when she wanted me to collect her.
Have now found her phone is missing and they don't have it at venue
Only a cheap phone but she knew how to ring me on it, not using the phonebook of coarse :rotfl: Even had a big sticker on the back with my numbers, but no one's bothered to ring, Pretty obvious it belonged to someone elderly
Snowed earlier on, now coming down thick and fast.0 -
Free cafe latte with Starbucks ground coffee
Bought a pack of Starbucks ground coffee (£2.75) from Asda. Info on the pack says take the empty pack into Starbucks for a free tall caffe latte. Probably a cost effective purchase if its what you want to drink.0 -
