    Is that really yours JTS? It is obviously working as all the lights are up on the homeplug. If it works like that and not the "normal" way then you need a new split box, technically down to your provider, but some would argue that it is down to the home owner, bit of a fine line there.

    Looks like the incoming line has been caught at some time and maybe shortened? Again, down to your provider. Would love to get our hands on that, could sort it out in no time flat :D

    No you’ve got your wires crossed....it’s me:rotfl::rotfl:

    Yes it was shortened:(

    By the way....it’s not as mucky as it looks behind there:rotfl:

    Could easily be fixed - one of three options, the cable is white so obviously coming from a connection box somewhere, that could be changed, or the cable could be joined inside (not a good option) and lengthened that way, or you could simply move the split box, you could even do that yourself, just unscrew it from the wall and move it to where the length allows, you can even use double sided tape to put it up if necessary.

    Of course, I am working on the assumption that the installers used the correct cable for the correct position, we have long realised that that is not an assumption that should be made. So cannot guarantee it comes from a connection box, it could simply be the able that comes from the nearest cabinet :eek:

    So long as no-one trips over the cables it is not doing any harm in that state. And we have seen far worse :eek:

    Morning all :)

    What's going on with all this code in people's posts. Is it when the apostrophe is being used?

    Edit nope as my post is ok...

    Instead of a funny handshake, we are using hidden codes and symbols :D

    It was TM’s idea and she has the list :rotfl:
