The kids, aka son and fiancee, actually got in at 22:10

Been jumped on and climbed over, dgs tried to jump onto my shoulders while I was sitting down, ending up doing a somersault on the floor from height because I moved at the wrong time :rotfl::rotfl:

One thing that annoys me, we used to read to the kids at bed time, now it seems to be the norm to stick a DVD on :( What happened to snuggle time :(

So you weren’t too late getting home. Wouldn’t it be funny if their lounge was bugged and they heard you moaning  Well it makes you wonder why they were home early :rotfl:

I insist on a book at bedtime when I have grandchildren, here or at their home. Took a while for them to accept that one but they look forward to grandma time now :D

I'm really pleased you are not late home. You could always tell them that when you are there it is book time?

That the way to do it and to persevere, they come round in the end I find. I love a good story :D
Tried that one. Didn't work. Did however manage to get granddaughter snuggled on the sofa reading a few books though, before bed, was hoping to do so at bedtime though but they were insistent it had to be the DVD mummy said.

May well try to change rules a bit more next time, really can't quite get used to the "modern" way of doing things.

There will always be books E, just keep at it like I did. You’ll get there in the end xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I’m still in bed, drinking coffee but I think I’ll lay back down and have just another half hour sleep :o. Well I’ve been awake since 5am and I’m still tired :rotfl:

    Morning everyone :)

Sainsburys is too far for me to make any use of that promo :(

    Missing the free Mullers :(

Hope you're pleased with the new tattoo when it's done Westvleteren :)

January over, and did well with keeping all spending down.

Will be trying my best for this month too!

Hope everyone has a lovely day today, frost on roofs and car windows, but it's a lovely sunny day out there today!
