It's no good taking a break away is it? This is the first shop I've done for a while as, eventually, I had to buy something due to having next to nowt in the house - and I'm out of touch. I think I've gone wrong on the milk again:(. 2 litres now apparently 2 for £1.50 in Farmfoods.

I rarely take a break but still haven’t got a clue what’s going on half the time:rotfl:

Mr TM has been out ages trying to get the cars up the drive.

I should really go out and see if he’s ok:o

None of my trade ins has had any value to cex or any of the other trade in places, one might have made a tenner on ebay.

Let us know how you get on with the card reader.

It was suggested that declined for lack of funds transactions would be the way to go but how does one stop the bank from just paying anyway and then charging horrendous unauthorised overdraft charges?
I was thinking of just doing £1 every time. I can handle the charge of 1.7p a transaction. Even at that price, it will be saving me much more in petrol, and more importantly, time.

I highlighted concerns about the card readers last week - but given a number of you have mentioned them, are my concerns unfounded? As you highlight, they are getting the transaction charge.

Morning peeps....After the rain and wind last night...It is now a calm and peaceful ...A nice sunny start to the day here.....

Had an excursion to Warrington yesterday with DS.....We had to take a few detours due to roads blocked with snow....Maybe not such a good idea to drive through the Peak District...Saw some of the country I had not seen before and will certainly return to visit again.....

DS got his digs.......I saw where he will be working....Birchwood Business Park....It was like a mini town full of business units.....It even has its own coffee shop....Sadly he will be leaving on Saturday to ready himself for work on Monday......Just have to get all his things together for the journey.....I would say its a big step to take....well, I suppose it is but he is used to living away from home and makes friends very easily....Going to miss him all the same....

Hope all is well with you all........Enjoy your days...wherever you are and whatever you may be doing...

Forgot to say thank you for the beer post OP......Managed to get in two orders...Looks like they are going to be honoured too...:j
