Just had a video chat with Those Sisters on my new phone  & I could do the silly wigs & cat on head thingies too - little steps here :o

Anyway That Sister yesterday had RT in morning & Cetuximab in afternoon.
Today RT in morning & again in afternoon.
Tomorrow RT in morning & then home until Tuesday :)
All going really well. No ghastly side effects as yet :) bar a red neck

Hi AJ, thank you, Xmas was manic this year.

Hope you are keeping well x

I totally missed wishing you all a Happy Christmas. :o

And it was so sad to read Sal is now wombling with the angels, she will be missed. :( Bless her and her family. :A

The wine you win some you lose some I guess, I have fine wines from Twine mystery boxes that have more than made up for this bad one but maybe we should say something...

We had a manic Christmas Day but been quiet since. I would definately make contact and mention the wine, you just never know. They won’t want an disappointed customer, just incase you spread the word, ooops :D. They can either sort it or just say hard luck xx

Thought I’d mention I bought a joint of beef from M, a couple of weeks ago, the ones they were doing for £4.50 kg before Christmas. As it was vacuum wrapped it was difficult to see if any fat etc was running through it.

I cooked it on low in the slow cooker but when it came to carve it, it was awful. So much waste due to the fat layers running through it and it wasn’t tender at all.

I kept the outer wrapper which showed the joint was clearly well in date so I just bagged the wrapper up and put it in the fridge to return for a refund.

When I got to CS they asked if I had a receipt, unfortunately DH had thrown it out but as I had the price on the wrapper they refunded me fine. However, I was told that M policy is that anything bought from their Market Street section, that’s all the fresh items, which doesn’t meet their high standards can be returned for a full refund and if you have the receipt, you also get a replacement product. So if DH hadn’t have chucked the receipt I could have got another piece of beef too :o

Handy to keep this in mind for the future :)

Thanks for the tip off hampy. I’m very surprised about the beef though as I swear by their meat, especially the fresh beef products. I’ve not had any bad cuts yet but there’s always a first time so I’ll think on and keep my receipt, just incase xx

Hope That Sister remains well while she is home for a few days. I still can’t get over the fact of her changing her mind but very pleased she did.
