Evening all, hope the elite are well. Xx
Spent day in kitchen freezing food did 10 bags parsnips and several cauliflowers. And made one or two of the boys favourite Xmas pies.

please can I ask what is in the pies?

it only leaves a couple of days to tidy up the drinks cupboard :)

Also the Maltsmiths were quite short dated - not sure what I've got left but Errant son will very gradually work his way through them and the drunken pig ciders :)

We have 2 significant birthdays in January so I am not sure if I can make it all the way through the month without any alchol at all but like the walking targets its worth a try.
Last year I also went crisp- less and managed about 6 weeks - possibly a good time to redo this challenge as there are no crisps in the house - and I am fed up of all crisps apart from Morrisons salted so no temptation unless I am in Morrisons :)

Of course you can, there is turkey, gammon and peas in a white sauce. Turkey, carrots and peas in gravy and the the favourite which is a bit odd, sausage meat and apple stuffing, with small diced turkey and gammon pieces mixed in. The kids call them Christmas pies and love them, boys tell me of if I cook them when girls visit. :rotfl:
