Is it still not worth buying the beans and sausages at 7p a large tin and just using the beans if you don’t like the sausages?:)

    Just a thought:)

Despite the fuzzy head I manage to apply for the Amex rewards card today - I re read the instructions on the Head for Points page and then I emailed the owner, Rob who sends you a link so you get extra amex reward points - very quick 5 minute job :j

Now don't I wish I'd done this months back when we were first contemplating small shops and talking about credit cards in general. I could easily have reached the target £2000 in a couple of months.
Apart from coal bills that is the only big bill going to come up now in the next 3 months ...

I've always used my nationwide credit card which was a cashback card but the cashback is being halved in January. I didn't earn that much cashback as it was over the year but now it wont be worth anything so it was time to think about using a different card which would have a better incentive.

I pondered on balance transfer cards for the balance on my Nationwide card and I got a possible approval from Virgin money but then I thought there is nothing to be actually gained from doing a balance transfer ...

Great - just need to finalise a phone to send in. Not sure if I send my old Nokia that still powers up or buy a burner phone to send in!

    These are a reasonable option:
    https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/phones/alcatel/20.38x#contractType=payasyougo

£4.99 (no need to top up!), possibly 99p on eBay to unlock if locked to 02.

    Or would this count:
    https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/pay-as-you-go-tariff.html#!/sort/relevance/model/ALC1016BLA

Buy on 02, £4.99 up front if you get it on the 02 Classic plan with £10 top up, but that means you can cash out the £10 top up (to Apple, Playstore, etc) and if you go through Q or TCB you can get £5 back on PAYG phones so cost covered.

Don't forget if you asked any member of the elite who has a gold amex they could have sent you the same bonus link and would have got 9k bonus points for themselves too...or there is quidco/tcb instead.

I notice that COS have 6 x 6 packs x 2 flavours of proper corn at Mr A again which then work out free if apg'd against Mr T.

Anyone else finding the droid £3/£5 codes are not working at M&S against clothes? Could it be an expiry thang, on our phone no expiry dates are shown just ''Expires: '?

Does anyone have a link to the Hombase 15% coupon?

    Thanks all.
    I think....

Head for Points is such an amazing site. As someone who travels regularly I often read and take part in the CC offers etc. they share. Only wish we had the amount of rewards here in the UK as they get in the US

    .

So possibly these 6 x six-packs of propercorn could go onto one of these beans/beans sausages/spaghetti sausages shop?

But would it give an over large voucher ...

    The maths is beyond me.

I have been writing down everyones little lists - fingers crossed they still work over the weekend. I have space for a bean/spaghetti/sausages stash
