I am sorry to hear the news about Sal. Unfortunately this horrible illness gives people no alternative to having to leave us. I've lost too many members of my family to this (one is too many, but you know what I mean) and now we have all lost someone as part of the Elite family. I can only send my condolences to those closest to her - it is a hard time and I am sorry for your loss - and remember that she is now no longer in suffering. Look after yourself and the people around you, it will pull you though even if it seems distant at the moment, and remember the good times that you spent with her. There is little more I can say at the moment (though of course I act as a continuing source of support if anyone needs it while I am here) and I'm sorry to hear this.

    Savvy, really well said.

Anyone considering getting an Android, the A3 may be worth considering with either the £10 back on £50 Arg0s VC deal or the 20% off on eBay from midday today?

£15 Google play credit, £50 trade in, go through Q to eBay for potentially another 5% off?

Would a purchase from Argos through eBay qualify though? It is available for Fast Track collection, which suggests you may get the usual Argos receipt from an eBay purchase? It states you get a full Argos warranty.

Just checked my coupons and the best I have is £10 off £50. With the best will in the world, I couldn’t spend that. So as much as I would like a ride out I’m going to pass. But well done izzey.....some fab bargains:)

and with Izzeys post I went off and did exactly the same....I still have £8 off £40....
No room in the freezer after I hit the T deli/fresh meat counter reductions on christmas eve and very little need for biscuits and chocolate...the wine and prosecco are still holding up well.....and we have lamb curry for tea tonight so the best I could do on the need stakes is a pack of Naan bread!

This Cadbury's selection box in Waities is a good buy, if you can find it. None at my local

    https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/cadbury-christmas-stocking/626720-229182-229182

Cupcakes in xmas tree shape, also reduced to £2 but forgot to look for those.

For the bakers, cupcake baking cases, two different kinds at 46p each.

Also the big red LINDOR BOULE is reduced to £2.50 (none left in my local).

In ex netto Asda this morning, the Extra Special Yule log grossly overpriced at £3.50, has now been reduced to an overpriced £2.00. It only fills half the box :(

    .
  • 1x Cadbury Fudge Chocolate Bar (25.5g) £0.25 £0.26

Is This just a straight forward mix n match 10 tins with NO trigger please?

yes. buy in 5's. (5/10/15/20) - compares to Tesco/Morries, depending on what other items are in your shop

maybe not deaf ears...just ears that didn't see the potential of losing information....be that informative or just the chit chat that binds the people together.

Maybe it is something we should consider....a bi monthly thread or whatever,I wouldn't have a problem with it changing every now and again, and it does mean that we don't lose masses of stuff should the thread be targeted....

If redfox is around perhaps she would let us know if it is possible to change the thread more often,or is it something that will be discouraged because it is deemed that there is sufficient storage space on the server and we need to continue with the everlasting thread....

it fell on deaf ears pure and simple....a new thread can be starter anytime, weekly, daily even hourly... we can all see the disadvantage of losing so much, we lost 5 months of good info and chat and only now folks are seeing what we have lost for good it would seem :(

Do you have the card that the SIM arrived in as it is printed on there.

I couldn’t work out how to get the phone number from a SIM either - I have one that is “live” but I transferred a number in and can not find that number :o.

We have until 1pm tomorrow to find it for the T offer :D.

Why don't you put said sim in your phone and ring someone else mobile and number will show up for you :)

but it only falls on deaf ears if no one is prepared to do anything about it.....

so now is the time perhaps.

Does anyone have an objection about going back to a more rotating thread?

if you have...speak now .....and maybe we could start again for the 1st JAN....What does everyone think and should we ask Redfox or a mod to start it in order to preserve the current 1st post....
