Can I tell you about one of the presents in my "tat box".....and it probably seems a little apt at the moment....

some of you might remember last year my OH made me a candle from my mums's favourite tea cup and saucer so I could share an angel chat with her over a cuppa and he has gone on to remake it over the year whenever it's burnt out....he's quite good at taking a situation and thinking out of the box for a solution and far better at the "tat box " than me.

This year as always I put a scratchcard in his and DS's box....he decided to do something slightly different for me....over the past 3 weeks or so he's been going "present shopping" and collecting wombles at A ....on christmas morning I had a stack of maybe 30 or so to open....
Their scratchcards produced no winner....but my wombles have given me just over £15 in APG's......

He's not at the point of embracing my hobby...but I think he's finally understanding that glitching is something I do!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Just trying to set up O2 priority on spare phone, but can't find the mobile number of the free sim, looked in sim status but it says unknown..
    Anyone have any ideas please?

Do you have the card that the SIM arrived in as it is printed on there.

I couldn’t work out how to get the phone number from a SIM either - I have one that is “live” but I transferred a number in and can not find that number :o.

We have until 1pm tomorrow to find it for the T offer :D.

    20,000 :eek::eek::eek::eek:

You live a very active lifestyle in comparison to me... I get out of bed, walk to the shower, walk to the car, walk to the office, walk to meetings....I do walk to the loo and the kitchen... I have been walking in the evenings doing 10,000 steps with my average 5,000 steps a day that tends to make me 15,000.

20,000 steps is about 3 hours walking for me.... I don't think I could achieve that..... I'll go for the 15,000 and when I can bump it up at weekends... so you're on!

DS3 bought me a garmin smart watch for Christmas which is linked to my phone... I am still learning how to use it.

So we have a joint challenge, shall we start on the 1st January?

    :D:D:D:D:D

God I do not believe I am agreeing to this :p:p:p:p

    Morning all
I would love to join in too, I do on average 15-20k per day on a good day. Think my highest was 45k in a day last year wiped me out. Lol

LEJC....I’m so pleased you had the Christmas you wanted. I must admit, I’ve been a bit selfish this year and said no to one or two things to spend more time with family. It feels the right thing to do. I’ve enjoyed just relaxing and doing nothing to be honest. I’m not wasting any energy on the sales. There’s nothing I need. However a trip to Newcastle for a lunch might be on the cards.

I’m also secretly looking forward to a New Year alone with Mr TM as both DD and DS will be spread around the UK:cool:

I’m struggling a bit with leftovers as I have no freezer space. I have fresh veg I should be freezing which I may have to chuck out:o . It goes against the grain. I also have a new kitchen on the horizon and will have to temporarily lose one freezer for a short while so I really should be running it low.

Hope everyone is ok today in light of our sad news yesterday. As sal would say “ the show goes on”:A
