    Bubbs, if you are making sweet and sour sauce are you sure it needs thickening? Just I never thicken mine.



    Funny, you would think it would work the other way round ..........

    My ma used to thicken everything with plain flour, she mixed it with water in a cup then added it very very slowly.
    Depending what you are thickening, but smash can also be used to thicken things.

    Nothing now as eaten it :p never had this problem before as the sauce came out a jar:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    With the exception of a couple of cards and presents still to wrap, I'm done :j

    I've had a few "moments" this week so to get to this point is an amazing feeling :D

    My local co-op doesn't close until 9pm so we will pop up about 8 to see if there's anything useful reduced to our kind of price :)

    I'm sat in the sofa with quite possibly the best vodka I've had for a long time. I've blimmin well deserved it :rotfl:
