Ooooh! Lovely mugs TM :A thank you.

Help yourself to some shortbread I made. I put a little semolina in the recipe to give it extra crunch :)

Sadly no red sky here - full cloud cover :(

    Family news...

Little Miss is doing great in 2nd year at Uni. She is commuting this year and seems to enjoy it. Still achieving excellent results. Going off to New York in the summer. I certainly gave her the travel bug. :A

DS. Got promoted in his job and asked his girfriend to marry him. All good fun. Both seem very happy. :A

The big ginger cat has hyperthyroidism so thats been a tough expensive run to get him stable. The new year will tell how hes keeping.

Me im fine its been an interesting year but glad to have reached the end of. Another xmas with Mr B so im happy.

I miss everyone here but time wise im not sure how i used to fit in so many trips to the shops.

    Take care of yourselves

    Good morning all

TM Thanks for the tea, always nice to get a cuppa made by someone else

DH has gone running and we will be delivering presents throughout the day, well until about 2.30 Home for a cuppa then off to see about some whoopsies

DH will then be delivering the Santa gifts that required to be built here the other day This will be very late evening

As you know DD has estranged herself from most of the family but sent lovely flowers to DH's old auntie, she included her new address so I may drop a card saying they are missed It will just open old wounds if its rejected gain , so its just a maybe

BB Nice to see you posting

    Enjoy your day

DD included an address and that is a significant move forward
Yes send DD a card - its all you can do. The worst that they can do is to put "not at this address" and put it back into the letter box - well not the worst.

I will always remember, when my brother was about 2 or 3 my mother found his at the bottom of the garden sucking on a slug, he really cried when she took it off him :eek:

Enjoying a nice cuppa thanks TM, nice to have a cup of Darjeeling :D

Mrs Mac, no harm in sending her a card, might just remind her what she is missing xx
