We ate pies and peas tonight in front of the tv on our laps:D

    It was relaxing:)

I let Oz in half way through as he was peering in through the window and he was mooching about me greedily:)
After we finished eating I noticed that Oz has some pie on the top of his tail and I went to pick it off to discover that it was a slug:eek::eek:

And no before you say DM, my food doesn’t normally look like slugs:rotfl::rotfl:

I let out a scream when I touched it....I wasn’t wearing gardening gloves remember.....and then began the search party to find the little blighter.
Mr TM got the hoover out:rotfl: and I threw all the cushions off the chairs. We searched and searched but couldn’t find it.

15 minutes later, and I lie not, DD found it on its way into the kitchen, metres away from where I originally found it.
    Speedy slug indeed:)

Vs M (this will not be in Scotland unless they are straight £10 there).
    2x Carling Lager (20x440) £22.00 £20.00

I didn't get that comparison unfortunately but instead they were got for A's £11 each:( as the £7.50 APG:D came against T, with the Carling used instead as an N/A filler.

What could T be cheaper on? Ah:
    2x ASDA Farm Stores White Potatoes (2.5kg) £2.30 £0.58
    As we know.

A couple of chocolate bags that are each £1 vs 75p (expect 50p after Christmas). A couple of Colmans each 80p vs 50p. Some Ben & Jerrys and Tomato Sauce cheaper - Warburtons Crumpets bought in an odd number:huh: so one went full price vs T 50p.

Shame this missed out on the M comp.:
    1x Jacob's Baked Cheddar Cheese Biscuits (150g) £1.00 £1.29
It compares as it should against M at 50p.

    Vs T
    1x ASDA Black Forest Gateu (620g) £2.00 £1.96:naughty:

I should not have thought this would ever compare against M:
    1x 2 Bake at Home Baguettes (2pk) £0.70 N/A

No hope therefore of any "2 for £1" vs M.

Either the price collection stores had gone no trace of these, or they were never picked up in the first place being seasonal items, or some other reason I haven't thought of:
    2x Maltesers & Friends Box (213g) £4.00 N/A

    https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Maltesers--Friends-Large-Selection-Box/297477011

I gave the warning earlier: this was the week that the large selection boxes appeared to be selling fast in M and were found to be absent from a number of Ms on Wednesday. It took me some time to find them in an M - fwiw I can confirm they did have them on Wednesday - and I thought they could well have gone from all collection stores. They did seem to be selling out of quite a number of stores from which they (and the other large selection boxes) had vanished. Doesn't mean they will have all of them no trace as it is just random as to what is left where.

This misses out comparing against M on the weight range by 0.5g. However I think this is a good thing, since they failed to buy the M mbuy number so M's full price would have been a lot higher:
    1x ASDA Toffee Cheesecake (445g) £1.25 N/A

    Do M have these?
    1x Nestle Butterfinger Cups Peanut Butter (4x21.5) £1.00 N/A

I think it's the individual ones that M has on RTC isn't it, that may be quite a lot more expensive as it's just a single one and therefore has never got to my list? Just trying to show off as it is in someone's M, that I am fully aware of, but probably virtually no other places by now:rotfl:.

    Hello savvy....how are you?

Are your Christmas preparations going according to plan?

Or is it still a bit like our house with people insisting on eating all the Christmas food:rotfl:
