    FYI the Kettle receipt from T for the right size packs says Snacks not Kettle Chips :eek:.

    Easy enough for them to spot if we were trying it on then ... :D.

    Rewards, nectar and cashback are treated as seperate schemes so I have opened nectar and 2 months later gold and should get bonus for both.
    As mentioned dw and I alternate as main/supplementary cardholders to increase the period when we are spending on a new customer offer.

    Nectar and rewards you can cash out your points and close once you have the bonus, cashback you have to wait 12 months for the cash to be credited and then close so will pay the year 2 fee but can reclaim pro-rata. This also means that it takes at least 18 months between repeats.

    Nectar often have a points bonus for applications in oct/nov via the nectar website, this year it was 30k rather than 20k, last year it was 40k!

    Thank you - do you think it will be OK if I open an account for DH but link it to the same Nectar card I am using ? He has got a card somewhere but hasn't used it for ages and am not sure where it is !
