Whilst I have no objection to a golden shower in principle - please go before you get in the bath....
    I think....

I think our gin obsession I think started with our offspring and only over the last few years - they also have a thing about cocktails and fizzy wine :D

But mostly its more mouth than action - we do a lot more talking about gin, researching gin, looking at gin bottles, reading up on the disterilies, checking gin prices etc than actually drinking it.

When we do actually get visitors here we firstly ask or they ask for, if they want soft drinks - this year its bottlegreen, schloer, cordial or nic kix or a beer or cider - blind pig, guiness or IPA or the no-alchol stuff. There are also plenty of Happy Downs
Only when we are actually eating will the wine come out.
And then maybe gin after dinner.
But OH drinks very little now, mostly he says it disagrees with his meds and anyway he seems to be always either at work or on-call or both.
Many years ago DS and his then new wife, took my grumpy old one out for a posh meal, the country resaurant also sold real ales so GOG was in heaven. He asks DS what he would like to drink, DS says, I think I fancy a G&T GOG's jaw dropped so much I thought DS had said he had committed murder... 'My son, not having a beer AND drinking GIN!!'

But it is certainly the popular drink of the moment.

No, I think its time to get serious with the males on this site. There is only 5 days to the big day, and with all the savings us blokes do, I really do think this should be the year all elite males show their significant others how much they care, and give them a gift that really shows our appreciation.

Now I know its hard to just suddently become a muggle, so I have found the ideal gift.

I have just been to homebase, and this has just been reduced from £89 to £30. A cracking bargain!!

although DS did mention creme de banana the other day.....apparently good in cocktails (a june bug)....but I can only seem to get it online at amazon or somewhere called the drinks supermarket....I think he will have to do with the bottle of midori we have instead ...melon is much more healthy than banana IMO!
Sure I've got a small bottle of that in the back of the cupboard that my late mam brought back for some foreign travel many moons ago!

I ordered from Amazon just before 7 last night and the parcels arrived just after 9. A lot of my prime stuff has been arriving late. When I contact Amazon, they extend the membership by a week/month depending how late the order arrived. Have a very long membership this year.:D
How did you do that? they've offered me nowt!
