  • My DGS age 6 was to be Father Christmas in the nativity play.

    Except now he's not.

He's been sacked for messing about. He said he wasn't really messing about, he'd just gone to watch the others who were messing about, to see what they were messing about at.

So now he's a shepherd instead. His grandad has consoled him, saying the shepherds were more important than Father Christmas because they were actually there at the manger and Father Christmas wasn't.

Which is all very well, and yes he feels better now, but it's raised a very deep question - if Father Christmas wasn't actually there, then where was he?

    Hmm.

    400W - Halogen Floodlight - Aluminium @Homebase - £1 (C&C)

Not quite sure how I C&C as I'm unable to reserve :/ Local is 9 miles away too but we just bought a house (in the process of solicitors) so would be good to get a couple at that price incase it needs one front & one back

Depending how much you use it it may work out cheaper to get an led one - 400w bulbs burn through leccy pretty quick.
    I think....

Good on you Enterprise,I admire your stand on it all.....I think even during my generation drinking has become more socially recognised than perhaps it was for my parents and now it's all too easy to have an odd glass here and there....doesn't always make it right but as I say it's become acceptable.

So....enterprise has never been drunk....what has everyone else never done.....?
I've never had either a KFC or a subway...
My DS has never had a filling (he's almost 20)....and my OH...well I haven't a clue about him and things he wouldn't admit to...
Could have joined you in the subway until 2 months ago in a motorway services, we did enjoy, but as we kept saying yes to all the extras they offered, it wasn't that cheap.

If you have cheap champers cranberry juice improves it :)
