Well done on your woopsies TM. Which tore was this at? P/L has a man that grabs everything. & a Chinese lady as well. They leave very little for anyone else - unless they do not want it.

    DM’s your man:)

Did we all get our kilogram of shortbread today in Iceland for £2?

    I didn’t :o

    Sold out:o

Do we know what tomorrow’s deal is?

WE were looking for teacher presents in the cupboard and found last years shortbread unopened - unfortunately kids refuse to take stuff past best before date for gifting :(

Tomorrow is 6 mince pies for 1.25 - is this a bargain?
    I think....

  • We got our shortbread, went into Iceland and was faced with a pile of it marked at £4, checked with someone that worked there and he said he thought it was as marked, had not heard of it being £2, and he reckoned he was a real bargain hunter and £4 was a bargain

We then got tot the till and were faced with a big poster saying it was £2 - some bargain hunter he was if he had not noticed that

    Morning, hope everyone is well.

Does anyone have any hamper ideas for my mum for Xmas? She's not a huge foodie but loves Gin...so a bottle of Gordon's vs S is on the list. I ordered one of those 2 quid jute seaside bags a while back so want to fill it with lovely things for her.

It doesn't have to be cheap. Just lovely. Any ideas welcome.

    Thanks
when I catch up everyone will have already answered, but my ideas are
    Tonic,
    Olives
    Nibbles/mini crackers
Angostura Bitters - to make her gin pink!
Glasses.. unless she has too many already
There are loads of gin 'flavoured' cakes etc out there, not sure how nice they will be.
Many small bottles of flavoured gin out there too.
Ice cube tray or those plastic ice things
    A silver stirrer

If we move away from drink 'Seasons' sell lovely scarves, which could bulk up the bag.
