TrulyMadly wrote: »Anyway.....here’s my story....I went to A to get a couple of bottles of JD....£20.... but the shelves were bare:o
Fortunately it was whoopsie time:T:T
I’d just picked up some 10p bread when I noticed that they were putting out the crates of veg......there was loads. Unfortunately the grabber was in attendance:o
I was a bit disappointed when I checked, as it was mainly salad stuff left although I did manage avocados and mushrooms:)
Then I spotted it.....a crate behind the pillar full of goodies......black grapes, raspberries and golden kiwis.....but the best thing.....it was just out of the grabbers eyeline.
Yippee my luck was in:T:T:T
I got lots of stuff and headed off to the till....not before I glanced back and saw Mrs grabber pick up her basket which I had mistaken for a cart of whoopsies:rotfl:
Well done on your woopsies TM. Which tore was this at? P/L has a man that grabs everything. & a Chinese lady as well. They leave very little for anyone else - unless they do not want it.0 -

Unfortunately the “grabber “was there...the greediest, rudest person you could ever meet:o So it was a case of waiting until she took everything she could possibly pack into one of her many baskets.....mr grabber decants them into his big trolley.....and then getting the left overs. The staff are fed up with her:o
I was in Ts yesterday when the reductions were done. I have never seen anything like it. They bought up about 5 green baskets of fruit and veg and said please wait till we put it on the shelves. As soon as it was on the shelves, two eastern eupopeans blocked the way. One lifted down two of the baskets, gave them to his friend who put them into his trolley. The first guy then grabbed another basket and gave it to his friend. Absolute greed.0 -

davemorton wrote: »Micheals, is the hole in the door 13 inches, or the entire plate?
It is the whole plate 13 / 331mm), the fixing bolts are at 295mm. Luckily with kids in the house we have google safe search activated so no fun results from "13 inch knocker" for me.....I think....0 -
davemorton wrote: »Cover it in really tight cling film. You need it on as small a plate/serving item as possible so the clin film goes down the side. If that cant work, make a 'frame' to go round it out of carotts cut in half long ways, then use the tight cling film.
Alternatively, why not make that, but set it in some sugar free jelly?0 -
