Well I am a new student...not doing the same course as you...but I've been keeping a close eye on ebay if that helps?0 -
ebay was gonna be my last call.
But thanks for the reply0 -
Hi. I sold loads of my PGCE books on eBay and got a lot more back than I would have by selling via the bookshop at Uni (Winchetser).
I listed them in early September so that newbies with booklists would be able to find them easily.
As most degree courses start a bit later than PGCEs I think you are likely to find buyers for some of your books on eBay, even now. Worth checking to see whether there are any free/half-price listing offers in the pipeline before you put them on!
Good luck!!!.·:*¨:starmod: ¨*:·. Rubiales.·:*¨ :starmod: ¨*:·.

i just sold a uni book from 2000 on amazon and it sold in less than 2 hours for £10. amazon is better for smaller / lighter books though as the buyer only pays £2.75 postage0

Most of the books I have are fairly heavy
In fact i have just checked with royal mail and it would cost £7.50 to send one of the books just in basic post0 -
Definately don't use Amazon then, most of your profit would go straight onto the extra postage costs. They should really work on that a bit, they'd get alot more sellers.
Being a new student myself I tend to check the department's notice boards, especially the first year board, and like the others have said, ebay. Have a look if there's a free listing day coming upMother, wife, scientist, analyst.

As of 1 Jan 2008 academicbooktrade closed but they have some other suggestions of places to trade on their home page.Dear Visitor,
AcademicBookTrade.co.uk is now closed, and all accounts have been closed.*
There are several alternative UK book exchange websites that you might like to try for buying and selling second hand books, including sellstudentbooks.com, studentbooks.co.uk, ukbookexchange.com, AbeBooks.co.uk or Amazon marketplace.**
We would like to thank all the visitors and customers who have used AcademicBookTrade.co.uk over the last 4 years, and wish you all the best for buying and selling your second hand academic books in the future.
