I just balanced the budget and discovered there was too much money in my purse :rotfl:
Usually it's the opposite so I potted it quick before I could find the mistake :rotfl:SPC 11, No. 062 DFD November 2020

Hello Potters
Sorry, I've been missing recently - life's been very busy recently and although I often read the posts, I don't always have time to add my thoughts.............not that they are that interesting anyway :rotfl:
Just cleared my purse and found £2.03 which I will pot tonight. Have a lovely week fellow Potters :beer:SPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.830 -
Evening potters!
Just logged on for the first time in ages and had a lovely message to say I have received my 7 year anniversary badgeIt made me think back to when life was unbearable and I didn’t have a pot to pee in, lol. It was such a long and hard journey to get to where I am today, but the struggle was definitely worth it. Had I not hit rock bottom then, undoubtedly, I would still have an obscene amount of debt.
Anyway, just popped on to say hi and to let you all know, especially you Sue!, that I am still potting away.
I’ve been a bit of a busy bee recently and took the brave (or stupid!) decision to embark on a distance learning course. I recently had my first of 5 exams and am happy to say that I scored, a very respectable, 93%......yippee! Not bad for someone on the wrong side of 40, lol.
Money banked from my full pots currently stands at............£385. I’ve updated my siggy Sue!
Hope you are all well and I’ll try to pop back soon.

Long time, no speak everyone!
Life has been stupidly/crazily busy!
However, in amongst all this, I have still (slowly, but surely) been contributing to my 4 sealed tin's (notes -very rare/£2 coins/£1 coins/small change).
Alongside this I have also joined Cleo/Plum which are both also going well. It's great to have something weighing up what I can afford to save all the time - then automatically putting it aside for me... even if I wouldn't look and feel I could afford it, it shows you can.
E4rub, thanks for that thought. It's great to know that someone has turned things around from such an exteme and now are living much more comfortably/without the enormous debt... it's inspirational and makes you feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel - so thank you!
Hooe you're all well and still potting! Sadly, can't update signiture with amount as I have no idea what I'm up to - I'm looking forward to the surprise at the end :jSPC no. 462 TOTAL £48.11
