Someone with an automatic only driving licence can drive any car with paddle shift for the gears providing that the vehicle doesn't have a manually operated clutch fitted.0 -
The law says that if the car has a clutch pedal you need a manual licence.
No clutch pedal = automatic licence is fine.0 -
Thanks for all response .
Any other view ?0 -

I thought the responses were quite conclusive, if it doesn't have a manually operated clutch, which this car doesn't, then an Auto licence will do.0 -
I once drove a Lamborgini at a track day event,it did not have a clutch pedal but paddle shift gear change,it never crossed my mind that this would be classed as an automatic, you learn every day.0

in black and white.vehicle with automatic transmission” means a class of vehicle in which either—
(a) the driver is not provided with any means whereby he may vary the gear ratio between the engine and the road wheels independently of the accelerator and the brakes, or
(b) he is provided with such means but they do not include a clutch pedal or lever which he may operate manually,0 -
Yeah, it's not the gear selection that has to be automatic, it's the gear changing.0
