Found out probable, if no calls made on voucher for six mounts then all credit is lost. I could not get any details whether I made calls or not as I got lock of their network when I tried to put lock on sim. So I lost £25 plus lots of hassle from Three and their customers services are something else to deal with.

Check with other mobiles phone shops in high street all same but some give shorter times, they do not Volunteer this info when purchasing sim got to ask them for it...:eek:

Since posting, got email from Three they have kindly put back £25 on to my sim, Thanks you Three :T

Settings > Data usage has a slider to switch Mobile data off and on. Switch it off and your Moto G will never use any mobile data so you won't incur any data charges. It will still connect to wifi. Only switch Mobile data on when there is no free wifi available and you need the internet.

It sound like you have bought some top-up vouchers from the Post Office or similar but didn't use (activate) them. These vouchers expire after a period of time if the voucher is not used. Once applied to your account the credit shouldn't expire. Three are pretty good about re-instating accidentally expired top-up vouchers.

Once the voucher value has been applied to your account some or all of the credit can be optionally spent on an Add-on package. These provide a bundle of data, minutes and texts, but are only valid for 30 days. Maybe that's what happened to you.
