Three Pay as you voucher problems.

Hi any help would be greatly appreciated, I purchased Moto G4 last yr from John Lewis but had loads of problems with it. The problem now is I used Three vouchers 'pay as you go' I turn off data as I only use it in emergency. Tried to make a calls on it today but three voice over says no credit and to purchase a top by calling them. My phone says I got 2GB of data but phone does not seem to recognized it.

Has anyone experience of this with Three or suggestions what I am doing. Had problems before with Three when I left it in their shop to transfer old number from one of their old phones.

Has anyone expericens this with Three or suggestions what I should do to see where data has gone as Three saying. :T

    When did you top up and when last did you successfully use the phone?

    Thanks for reply, I purchased phone last year and had nothing but problems with it since then. I took it into Three shop for them to transfer my number from my old sim card to new phone.
    The men in shop said I had to leave my new phone with them for day to do the transfer to my new smart phone from my old Three phone, but when I got it back it had different number on it, not my old number. To cut a long stressful story short I had to contract Three CEO and then it was not easy to get my number back with credit I lost but I was successful and got my credit back and number as well. I really feel the men in shop did something to my phone as they went throught it even when I was there and then asking me to leave my phone with them to do transfer,they seem so nice and helpful I left it with them, but will not leave my phone with them again.
    I use phone only in emergency I last sent text in July. I needed to make contact with friend recently but now get voice over message from Three saying that I was out of credit but my data on phone says l got 2GB of credit. I use whatapps over wifi whenever I can instead of my credit on phone.

    If you dial 444 how much credit does it say you have?

    Dial 444 and it says Zero pound and Zero Pence but I have not used any of my vouchers money and phone data confirms what is wrong with Three :mad: Seen call hisgtoy and and people I tried to call be but could not reach says 0 sec(s) would other apps on phone use up my data when it's turn off...

    Your phone must have used background data at some stage, if you have no credit you’ll need to top up before you can use it again.

    The logical answer is at some stage data has been left on.

    Have you switched off the feature that allows apps to update over mobile data?

    Data usage 0 KB cannot understand never use it on phone and do not know what has happened, I keep aeroplane mode to stop any interference but turn it off when I want to use phone but nothing always blocked. :mad::mad:

    Sounds to me that you put monthly vouchers on and they ran out.

    So do you enable aeroplane mode when not using it, and not disable all data in settings?

    They can easily run out Three took £7 :mad:during the night when i was a sleep because my Wifi went of and the phone started using my data since then i don't bother with Payg i use sim only and am still with Three.
