You are doing really well Breo in such a difficult situation. Have a lovely Christmas and let's hope 2018 brings you lots of peace and happiness x
  • Just read through your diary and thought I would say hello. I'm another single parent in debt. I do have six kids though! You are doing so well so far and hopefully your solicitor is right and you can get a clean break.

I'll be subscribing to see how you are getting on. I have only just started paying off my debts as my income was always a bit up and down but now I am on my own and my income is sorted, I now have the money to pay everything off. Undecided whether to doit myself or get stepchange or someone else to do a DMP for me.

Kudos to you mamma! My upmost respect on bringing up 6 kids as a single parent. Its hard enough with 1. I have got a whole new appreciation for how people cope.

There seems to be lots of advice on here about DMPs and things - I think the key part is making sure whoever does it for you does it free!!

    Hello,

Sorry I haven't posted to you in a while. I know it's late but £2500 set and you never have to worry about him coming for money? Pay the woman! Get it all done and dusted. If you're clear financially and he has to stay away then you can start sorting out everything else. You can do this. Well done for doing your home work and shopping around. That's the worst part out the way. Let us know how you're getting on xxx
