So the decision wasn't taken at a gay parade!!0 -
Not really read much that dunstonh has posted or what happened in this case, but you don't just ban a 13 year member who has supported and helped so many people unless they had done something extremely wrong which I get from this dunstonh hasn't.
I am dunstonh.Anything I say in no way constitutes financial advice and anything you do is your own decision.0 -
A very belated +1 from me.
D has made a real world difference to my finances with some of the most selfless assistance I have ever encountered which, over the course of several weeks, eventually resulted in me receiving a five figure refund.
It would be far more constructive and helpful if official reasons were posted for the ban.
A someone who gets posts removed from time to time I realise there are a great many delicate flowers on here and that rules are rules but it's not entirely clear (to me at least) what they are or how they're applied.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0 -
Such a shame he's been banned. My husband has spent many an hour discussing financial matters with him in the past.
I agree he should be reinstated. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Its a shame it took resorting to twitter to get things going about an unban. Didn't want to upset the PR machine me figures...0

It's makes me wonder if I should ever post an "opinion" ever again, in case I am banned also.0

Another +1 for bringing back dunstonh from me. A truly valuable member of the forum.0

If it wasn't for dunstonh, it is likely I would not bother to save up for retirement. It was him that answered my questions so long time ago when I asked for some opinion regarding the pension. Sadly missed already.
I am really bitterly disappointed to hear about this and the pension forum which is the only one I attend is now tainted by the fact dunstonh got banned.0 -
And to Dunstonh,
If you have your PPR status reversed, please return.I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0 -
Dunstonh must be one of the top 3 or 4 posters on this board and has provided huge amounts of good advice.
This board is the reason for my visits to MSE and the board loses enormous value if Dunstonh's ban remains. It loses value simply from the loss of Dunstonh's words but even more so if we are left to assume that the board is now biased in favour of those who support high risk investment companies and against those who warn of the risks.
I support the restoration of Dunstonh as a major poster on this board.0
